I have a question if someone can answer I bought a new bass and on the the low e string the first couple of frets when I strum makes a ringging or like a metal sound do I have to get it fixed or when I buy. A better amp it will go away

I bought a bass with the same problem and It was the grounding which means the metal inside the bass was touching and I bought both a new a bass and an amp and it went away,

try a different amp first.

@plue1995 When I bought my last bass I had the same problem. The small plastic bar the strings are setting on is set too low but its an easy fix. You need to take it to a shop they can do it in like an hour or less I took it to guitar center and they did it for free.
