I dont mean to fuel hatred of stephen mulligan but at his fun park in Skegness, just off the A52, he has a ride where you throw frozen veg at Michael Parkinson, yes, the real one. After Parky got sacked by ITV he was looking for a new gigg, so Mulligan, knowing Parky was desperate, hired him for tupence...poor guy. I think this interview is brilliantly geared towards kids. Makes Gervais seem very affable and approachable, and, importantly, it's a little weird. Interesting that they talk about The Office though. Not a show that was made with a young audience in mind methinks, but they get away with it.
