  • I am interested in performing this piece. What do I need to do to get it?

  • @djnotnice135 Please email me: realdealpeel@gmail.com. Thank you!

  • Well we allready have a copy, I will keep you updated about our performance and I will record it and even uploaded it once we do.

  • @DrumforJC18 That will be great! Good luck and I can't wait to see it.

  • This is beautiful, my friend and I are thinking about playing it at out University this Spriing Semester! Great job

  • @DrumforJC18 Thanks! Yeah, just let me know if you would like to get your hands on a copy.

  • This is a very good piece, i like the sound alot. The only flaw in it that i see is just before E you have notes that are not in the range a vibe can play. also, you might want to try writing the marimba parts on grand staffs but besides that it is great

  • @KawFilms

This is almost 2 years old. I've fixed all notation errors since then. And the vibes ARE in range since the part is intended to be played on a 4 octave set. It can be transposed though of course, for a 3 octave set.

  • @reeldeelpeel is there any way you can email me the sheet music to this? my friend and i are looking for a vibes/marimba duet to play and we are both interested in this piece. if you could send me a copy that would be incredible.

  • @SUPERMANSBELT

I'm selling copies of the piece for $15. Send me a message if you're interested!

  • love the transitions, very gradual yet exciting.

  • @Dalton1357911

I'm glad you think so, thank you so much!

  • nice for first one!! please tell me when your next up-beat(fast) cadence is!

  • a friend and i really love this song. We were hoping to play it for our last senior duet together. Is there any way we can get a copy of the sheet music?

    thanks

  • @TheMarimbaPlayer,

I'm glad you and your friend love it! Yes, you can purchase a copy (score, and both parts) from me for $15. I do business with Paypal, so if this still interests you, send me an email please! My email is on my youtube profile. I sent you a message saying this same thing btw.

  • I'd like to purchase this for my senior recital next month do you think i could? :D

  • Woah what time signature is this? lol its tripping me out. But very nice. I love the key changes. very tasty changes

  • @MrGamingDrummer,

    Thanks! I appreciate it.

The part that's tripping you is probably the 5/4 part, and then I have weird syncopation stuff happening throughout the other time signatures: 6/8, 12/8, & 9/8.

  • pretty good composer

  • @hempaw,

    Thanks

  • wow i love it

and its worth it there is this girl i love that playes drums also and mabie if i buy it we can do it for the ensemble judge and i just absolutly love her. Man you got music for everything

  • @colbyman12,

Thanks Colby. Just let me know if it would be useful for you.

  • How did you choose which instrument was male or female?

  • @crazytffy,

It doesn't really matter which one is which. I just thought since a marimba has a lower range, it would be appropriate as the male voice. Plus, marimbas are larger than vibraphones in general, and the same goes for average size humans in real life.

  • Makes sense. Good work!

  • Hey, can I purchase this?

  • @emily6193,

    I believe I sent you a message.

  • holy effin CRAP!! I WANNA PLAY THIS WITH MY AMIGO!! lol. its probably the coolest duet ive ever heeeaaard SNAP. is this possible to buy on your site maybe?

  • Messaged you, thanks btw :)

  • you couldve gone ahead and changed all that very low marimba stuff into bass cleff

  • It is changed now, lol. This is old.

  • haha ok cool!

  • o.o that was epic. Great job! :D

  • Thanks so much :)

  • This is beautiful.

  • Thanks :)

  • your melodies r hard to pin down with all the different things going on. Keep it up

  • I think I know what you mean, thanks :)

  • I love this...as all your music...it is great! Are you excited about the repeat button on Sibelius 6 on the keypad?

  • Thanks! :)

I'm not only excited, I actually already enjoy it!

  • could i get the sheet music to this? I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm looking for pieces to expand my horizons...I love this piece. Beautifully written! Message me and let me know =) thank you!

  • Thanks for your compliments!! I'm selling the score (small score, lol), parts and mp3 for 10 bucks. My email is on my channel if you want to talk about purchasing it.

  • haha ok...well once I get 10 bucks I'm willing to spend I'll definately email you lol =P

  • The point is really for you to bring the information for your school so they can write a check.

  • ah I see...but what if I'm not performing through my school and instead as a solo to have for my personal repertoire?

  • Lol man i think im writing for marimba 2 im jsut so exited with ur work

  • Thanks :) Good luck with your piece!

  • Awesome and fun piece. Love the syncopated chord rhythms on the marimba.

  • Thanks for noticing that :)

  • Great piece. 2:30 was kind of awkward for me but I think that was just Sibelius not interpreting your hairpin crescendo correctly, maybe?

  • Thank you! Yeah, its not necessarily Sibelius' fault about the crescendo not being played as accurately as it should be. I use VDL, and the sound of the rolls is only one sample, its not a continuous stream like midi. It sounds much more realistic, but its impossible to change the velocity of the roll while it's being played without adjusting the volume, and that makes it sound terrible. I do use that sometimes for snare buzz rolls, or suspended cymbal swells. But yes, you are correct. :)

  • you said you were selling this for 10 bucks, right?

    do you take cash? lol

  • LOL, can you please email me with the same question? My email is on my channel if you don't have it.

    Thanks :)

  • this is so beautiful

  • Thank you

  • i really really like it. almost as much as i like metabolism.

  • I thought I already showed you this one! I guess it has been far too long. :( I'm glad you like it. :)

  • could you send me the music for that?

  • I'm selling the finished version for $10.

but thanks for enjoying it enough to want it!

  • it sort of sounds like edward scissorhands. where could i get the finished copy?

  • Hey man, Great peice! Is it published? Im wondering because i've been looking for a duet to play and id love to play this one.

  • no, it's not published.

  • I disagree that this piece is missing anything. It seems more like its too fake. As in, even though you are using VD, its not human...you know what I mean?

I think given two people playing this, on their respective parts, would give it the emotional touch it needs

  • not human as in unplayable?? or ahead of its time?? I don't really understand what you mean there.

yeah, any piece played live will send more feeling than computerized obviously.

  • Heh Yea I meant as in it was played by a computer.

I was trying to say that I think the missing item is the human emotion that this piece was built around

  • alright, but you said it wasn't because of VDL, so I was confused.

  • theres something deeply pleasing about this song, it leaves you feeling good, but it just needs something in the lulls and low parts.

  • I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but I agree that in some way, it's incomplete. I feel that way about all my pieces really.

  • beautiful! very nicely done. I just started using Sibelius today myself but i cant figure out how to adjust playback volume could you help me out?

  • very nice. Really dynamic, lots of variation.

  • thanks Adam!

  • Very nice job!

  • thank you so much!

  • again, great job man.. as always

  • thank you :)

  • wow this was great! I really loved the part at the first key change and then after the ritard

  • yea man that was sweet.

  • and your's as well! lol

  • thank you so much for your input!

  • hey my name is almost like urs lol

  • cool!

  • thank you!

  • Ah, I really like this piece, GREAT JOB!

  • I'm glad you like it! Thank you so much! :)
