The fact remains Ayaan has actually done nothing to help women on the ground. Rather than attacking the entire religion for the actions of a few groups, it would be much wiser to encourage and support the progressive groups.Muslims have no interest in her message and some have no idea what she is talking about. How does alienating Muslims help Muslim women? Where is her message of universal values? Where is her commitment to universal principles?

You don't see muslims protest against the taliban, hamas, al quadia, the horrible abuse of human rights in Iran, the execution of children in Iran, the use of execution as a political tool under the guise of ISLAM in Iran, you don't see muslims protest against violence in Darfur.
