Then there was a dam that broke in Syria. Iraq flew "aid" to the region. It was reported that they hollowed out a number of 747's and took the WMD's there.

Saddam did have WMD's in the past and used them against the Kurds and the Iranians. There is also substantial evidence that Gulf War Illness is tied to Sarin Gas exposure. The difference between Saddam and the others is that Saddam has used them.

You can't change history. We invaded Iraq in 2003. The Syrian dam collapse was in 2002. You must be thinking of the American Afghan war which was a response to the World Trade Center Attack in 2001. The Iraq war began in 2003. It's a different war and a different place. Ruled by different people. People have bitched so much in the past 7-8 years that they don't even know the facts anymore. According to Sada, the WMDs were flown out in 2002 but that wasn't the only reason for the war.

Another reason for the invasion of Iraq was the presence of Al Qaida, and ofcourse Saddam supporting them. We know today that before the war started in '03, Al Qaida didn't exist in Iraq. But after US bombings killed 1000s of civilians in a few days, you could consider 90% of Iraq as a member of Al Qaida (according to the US description of a member/terrorist ofcourse)
