  • Nice video, you explain the processes very clearly. Thanks for producing it and thanks for the help!

  • You know what thylakoid means? I looked it up. It's from Greek thylakos, which means sack. For a word that sounds so technical, it's pretty funny that it means sack.

  • A little slow(talking), but this was a great short and simple way to describe it thanks, big help!

  • Wow This is awesome. Very helpful. At first I thought it was going to be long and very boring/confusing.....but it wasn't! I learned more from this than I did from my science book! Thanks for the short, simple, and to the point video!

  • Very good video. You described this video so wel that a sixth grader got it!!! Kudoes!!!

  • First day of school: read ALL the textbooks!

Last day of school: burn ALL the textbooks!

  • Subscribed!

  • In a minute? The video is 6 minutes long.....

  • Dang, I was hoping that you'd go into detail on the Calvin cycle with all the RuBP and stuff... and the whole non-cyclic/cyclic photophosphorylation...and the electron transport and its similarities to cellular respiration... :/

  • I literally learned more in this video that i learned in a whole semester of biology. Thank you very much for making this.

  • biology in 6 minutes *

  • me

  • Who else here is cramming for exams?

  • yessss... in a minute I am 1/6 of the way through understanding :P

  • Screw school. we got youtube.

  • Thanks to this video, I understand Photosynthesis tho its a complicated thing. :)

  • If I had watched this video first, I would have been able to understand the first 10 videos I watched

  • Thanks, this is great!

  • Very helpful cheers man!

  • Thank you. Now I understand

  • thanksss

  • Helpful :) The graph at the beginning really assisted in my understanding. I like how you started with the core, or basics of auto/heterotroph. I would use the equation CO2 + H2O --> CH2O + O2 because of how CH2O is already simplified by the empirical formula and is the basic sub-unit that is produced rather than glucose. (Fructose is the product actually and it is then transferred into glucose or even sucrose for plant transport since it's an isomer. (Same chemical formula different structure)

  • @jb12124 I'm sorry to hear that, but if you have any questions about photosynthesis I can help with, let me know. I'll be glad to answer any questions. :) Thanks for watching tho!

  • @pisgahscience Thanks for taking the time to make a video!

  • this is way longer than a minute. hahaha thnx for the info though!

  • Grate video. Very helpful.

  • I need to do one. Good idea. I think that'll be my next one!

  • I like you :3 Do you happen to have a video about Cell Respiration???

  • Thank you sooo much!!! I finally understand photosynthesis!

  • aaiden sitgrieves is sexy

  • This helps! Seems to be a bit longer than a minute, however.

  • *really

  • Awesome vid man reay helpful

  • Thanks, very helpful. Simple and easy to remember.

  • thanks a lot.. this really helped me a lot.. i shared it also to my classmates... thanks again :D

  • 2 guys dont know what photosynthesis is...

  • thanks! do u have one for cellular respiration??

  • is it just me or does it say "6:35"

  • this looks like 6 minutes not a minute

  • Makes so much more sense. Thanks!!

  • Thanks for connecting Photosystem 2&1 to the Light Dependent Reactions section!

  • OMG soooo helpful!! you have put this in the utmost lamens terms!! thank you so much!

  • I just copied the graphic (handmade so I hope it's okay)

    Thanx a lot! :D

  • 6 minutes not 1 minute..

  • :D you just made me understand a semester of school :D thank you xD

  • good job =)...

  • so helpful! might actually pass my exam now :)

  • oh also im recommending you to my friends.

  • @torosyan Thanks! Please do! :)

  • oh dude, my teachers are incompetent.

if only i knew of these videos back in September!

got my tests in January, and ive learnt more in this video then i have at my school =/

    THANKS! i owe you xD

    BIG TIME

  • We played this in class for a review, & this is definetely going to help me on the big test! Thank you!! :)

  • @PhotographyIsLife16 Really?! In class?! That is so cool!!!!

  • @pisgahscience Yeah, it definetely helped me for the big test :)

  • Helpful!! Thanks !

  • thanks great video but its not in a minute its 6

  • @JEMskaters lol

  • Thankyou, your video has made things a lot clearer. I'd really appreciate it if you could elaborate by talking about energy given to electrons etc? because i like your style of teaching

  • Thank you so much for this video.. This quick overview of photosynthesis was very clear to understand and I learnt more in these 6minutes, than I had over 2hours in my biology class. Thank you.

  • @FatemaMo That you so much. That is wonderful to hear! That is why I'm doing these videos. Hopefully to break down these complex ideas into simple easy to understand ideas! :) Take care.

  • @pisgahscience I agree, it was really helpful. my bio. class is 1 hr and 45 minutes, and I learned more in these 6 minutes. One question I must ask, however, is related to the reactants for the Light Dependent Reactions. You said that H2O and Sunlight are required, but isn't C02 required as well? I was reading that it was in my textbook, and the formula you have written also refers to it being a reactant

  • Thank you so much for this video.. This quick overview of photosynthesis was very clear to understand and I learnt more in these 6minutes, than I had over 2hours in my biology class. Thank you.

  • BORING!

  • @chloelouisejenkins15 Hahaha....yeah, well it is photosynthesis. Personally I think it is incredible that a cell can - in its infinite complexity - has an organelle than create the very essence of life. That the creation of glucose by photosynthesis is such a vital part of evolution that one single mishap along the evolutionary line could have ended the evolutionary line that led the the diversity we have today! To be so boring - it is so fascinating!

  • thank you for such concise video

  • @spikedardens - Thanks! I hope it helped.

  • @pisgahscience it helped a lot m8.. thnx

  • @dracula19148914 Thanks. I'm glad it helped! :)

  • Wow thanks so much!! This made it much more simple than my notes. :D

  • @SydneyAurora Thanks. I hope it helped.

  • This made so much more since than what Ive been studying, I think I can do good on the test tomorrow. Thanks a bunch

  • Thanks.

  • thanks this helped a whole bunch!

    :]

  • Great! I'm glad!

  • wooohooooo photosythesis.. awesome

    yeah :)
