  • that connector should go to the o2 sensor. if it was mounted on the upper half of the intake in the rear. locked up: u should really take the timing cover off something fell down maybe.. good luck

  • The last thing is 1 of the 2 thrust washers(bearings) - they are in there to prevent crank walk (travel) - with that off that is your issue and trust me its a big one! I am going to bet your crank is trashed now. Let me know if I can help you out - I sell remanned SR cranks JDS-Performance-Parts dottt commm

  • 3. The fact that you can only crank the the motor a 1/4 turn is scary. I can't elaborate on that issue, but I can tell you what you're holding at the end of the video is one of the thrust bearings for your crankshaft...not good my man.

  • 2. That timing chain guide is indeed chipped at the top, not sure how that happened, but it honestly shouldn't pose and issue should you choose to reuse it. The "smooth" part of it will/should have slight wear grooves in it, as it rides up against the back side of the timing chain itself. Since it looks like you're going to have to do a full on teardown, I honestly would just get a complete timing chain kit

  • I seriously haven't been on Youtube in years, but I recently got done with rebuilding my redtop SR, and figured I could lend you some help.

    1. It appears that plug which you are asking about (the one next to the IACV) is for your knock sensor. Not sure about the blacktop, I have a redtop and from that plug, the wiring ties into the fuel injector harness.
