the "homeless drug addicts"- and crazy bachelors and artists who were all self-taught and insane screaming punk kids and so on were about ten million times better folks than the housed u of m fuckin students. way more well read and interesting to talk to, too- though i am sure the new breed of wanker trust fund baby fuck is extreemely well versed on matters of business, finance, and fuck-all hedge fund sheistery. . . .

i miss the OLD performance network('fore it got assinine), whitley's dance, all the little studios and hippy food start-ups- so fuckin much-- grew up there in the 80s, learned music in that crazy laberynth, played my first shows there-fuck! thrown a horrible loop after several years to see that fuckin YMCA! bet they TRIPLED the price of those old s.o. rooms, too- who killed it? i know it was slated for yuppie destruction- i'd like to put a cigarette right in that fucker's eye!
