  • Awesome song. Great teacher. Respect!

  • I'm not much of a guitar player. I've been trying to learn for a while now but I just can't find the time. But I've been listening to this song over and over again while preparing for a drama audition. It puts me in such the right mood for my monologue thank you for writing something so beautiful and so fantastic.

Thought it was Highgate Woods 'till I read the blurb.

"Thanks" is too small a word for what you've taught me but you know what I mean when I say it. I hope I'll have the honour of buying you a pint one day.

  • I was looking for the Screamo band, not this.

  • Beautiful song, really very beautiful...

  • This isn't really my type of song but it is really good.

  • I love this song. You're better than every music artist in the U.S. that's for sure. The world needs more music artists like you!

  • Nice! i found you on "Songsterr," and attempted stairway to heavan though your video, and kinda failed. great lesson though, really good to listen to. I don't supose you could do a vid on Bob Segar's "Turn The Page," could you? really want to learn it, but none of the online tabs seam right. Cheers mate, take it easy

  • This song is fucking beauty and I havent even got past the 1st minute haha

  • respect!!!

  • im really not into acoustic folky kind of stuff but i visit the justinguitars website everyday checking out the lessons. not only is justin an amazingly talented musician but a really good teacher who leaves out all the bullshit and gets down to business. i have learnt sooo much cool shit from justin and thank you soo much mate. you are providing a priceless service to the world. keep it up and you will be recognised for your valuable services one day if not already.

  • Justin, don't listen to these armchair musicians talking about your singing. Your voice is fantastic. I just went on iTunes and picked up your album. Your lessons are awesome as is your music. You have to do a tutorial on "I know" and "From Katies Window". Awesome tunese. All the best from the US!

  • AWESOME

  • Wow, i dont get it. His singing is very good.

You dont have to be a robert Plant to be a good singer, do you?

    Really love this.

And guitar is amazing man :)

    Keep it up. :)

I am a huge huge admirer.

    Abhimanyu from India

(PS if i get your record here, I will buy it)

awesum shud b a lesser expression for ur works

you knoe pounds r bit costy

but i bow to my teacher

    wishing u all the success

  • whoa! pg.99 has changed... . . . .

  • Hi Justin, Erik from Norway here. I love your guitar lessons, they have helped me a lot to develop my guitar skills :-) I read in your newsletter that you are a bit diappointed of the lack of support, only 200 copies sold. I DO support you, but your song are a little bit to "soft " for me. But I wish you all the best, and you are the number one guitar teacher on the web, without any doubt!!!!

P.S. Sorry if my english is not so good...but probably better than your norwegian :-)

  • first of all i like the song and imperfect as well,my favorites of your album but you should use simple guitar and make a hit....we all know simple is best

  • worst statement ever made.. exact reason why music today is total garbage and even the biggest joke of a muscian can become a hit.

  • @Severansex its sad you don't appreciate complexity, music today sucks compared to the earlier days

  • Beautiful song. I love that tremoling.

  • awsome

  • Awesome dude, 5* Keep doing what u do man, love it (:

  • You are the best guitar teacher no doubts on that point, but as a singer, I don´t quite get connected with your work. this is very honest. In my opinion, you should keep pointing to become (or keep being) "THE GUITAR TEACHER OF THE WEB/WORLD". You can really excel there My humble opiñon. I allways recomend your lessons to anybody asking about learning guitar. Anyway this is your first record and you have plenty of time to develop. Don´t lose your teacher path though!!

  • love your style man, as an artist, as a teacher and as a human being...

  • Beautiful video, love it.

  • Awesome songs...I just bought the album on itunes....everyone buy his album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it the day after i went to see Justins gig :) - it was simply amasing a very intimate venue definately one of the ebst venues ive ever been to espeically with the quality of music. I will continue to support Justin for a long time.

  • Wow! there are many people that post tutorials and guitar helping tips all over the net...I had no idea of your quality and technique!...i just started checkin out your website and some of your lesson vids...kinda stumbled upon them while i was looking for teaching advice for myself...i like your style...keep the vids coming =)

  • Comment removed

  • Nice haircut Justin...We all love you man. hope you make it to the top...but we also want our guitar teacher!! lol Your just an awesome human being and the world could use a few more like you!! see you Friday.

  • @OPointBreakO ..you cant say anything bad coz it isnt bad.. its awesome....

  • hey justin, i just wanted to give a really big thanks for all that you taught me from my fiirst chord to advice on how to transcribe a song its really been great learning from you, but coming from a fan and student don't stop posting those vids lol, because we greatly appreciate them!! thank you... :) -alex

  • will you tour outside UK?Maybe Romania??

  • Brilliant.

Ill enjoy this with some beer

  • though i hv always learned frm ur lessons, n even as i still download sm of ur vids, i feel a sense of guilty for not being able to donate anything 2 ur website.... jus a student, dnt hv anything 2 donate u c...i love u n ur work, besides saying tat u r a gud teacher, u r amongst the few "good human beings" tat i hv eva seen or met , both online n offline... jus keep rocking justin, da world is full of cut-throat competition, hweva i strongly believe tat ur work will keep u shining.. frm india

  • justin i suppose you'll never read this, because this doesnt even come close to being a page 99 but if you do i wanted to express my sincere thanks and gratitude for what you have thought me. I started playing two years ago, working my way up from the simple songs section, now im playing hendrix, vai keaggy and am working my way towards a conservatory audition.thank you for introducing me to a wonderful world. this is probably my most sincere thanks ever haha. karel

  • @JustinSandercoe Nice video and wonderful song. Any chance you touring Canada?

  • tres belle chanson bravo et merci :)

  • awesome!!

  • Love it :D

And I love your lesson too :)

  • good job

  • Guitar playing was amazing. Folksy kind of song. Agree, second half wobbly camera a bit silly.

  • The intro sounds really close to Half-Hearted Apology by Dean Fields

  • This is now my new theme song

  • Thks. Hope get back to ur lessons soon

  • This is very lovely..like this a lot!

thanks for the good quality guitar instruction as well! I'll share this with youtube contacts!

  • Hey!!! Nice video lovely song...

  • this is lovely well done

  • @garrethdavis good pick!

  • Great song, beautiful playing, I didn't like the last half of the video though, all that wobbly camera work is too annoying. Some shots from the front early on when your sat in the woods showing you actually playing would've been good, obviously we all know you can play it, but it looks like your just holding the guitar as all the shots are from the side/back

  • This song was in my head whole day yesterday.

    It's really good, Justin!

    Keep up the good work!

  • nice song. dont think it will make it on the radar here in the U,S.,its tuff to get air play here but keep trying maybe im wrong you are already a international ufube star so its just a matter of time best of luck!!!!

  • Thank You Justin, Great job on the video, not the same old cookie cutter type music video.

  • Great guitar player. But this video made me lol. Reminds me of some parody video from the 90's...:D

  • Sadly un-commercial, Poet he may be, brilliant guitarist he certainly is, nice guy on You Tube, yes he is. This makes him look rather silly, what was needed here was a stylist and some re-write of the lyrics for this song. They sound clumsy and this is not a grower or catchy in anyway, a missed opportunity. Maybe the next album will make some money for him, this one sounds like a mercy purchase.

  • thank you justin, you change my life with your lessons and your music. I was lost but now i have a reson to live, music . I hope you could visit mexico one day it would be awsome!!!!!!! Gracias por tu musica maestro.

  • God blesses people like you.

  • My teacher have a music video! I feel good about this.

  • brilliant playing, and the video goes with it perfectly

  • hi justin i just saw you being interveiw on aussie tv news and was very happy for you keep up the good work kindest regards

  • Where's the tabs? HEHE Awesome my friend, Great arrangement.

  • You are good. I love your lessons and your songs. Keep going man! Big hug from Portugal

  • hi jmc - well you don't qualify as the first 5 as there are already 10... and I will judge the best 5 on March 7th - see the details over there -->> Cheers, J

  • Now I see Justin, I hadn't read the details, instead thought it was the first ten. Let me just say that being your student is really the reward. Without you I wouldn't be able to play the guitar. For everyone that you have taught with your website let me say that it is a very special gift that you have given to me and thousands more.

  • very nice song...

i agreed with dabigpitt...he's very kind person...teach the world without any payment and the video is extremely helpful...thank you justin !!

    greeting from Malaysia....

  • everyone loves justin sandercoe, how could you hate the guy? this is probably the only page on youtube without haters saying something hateful on it.

  • Personally i think he's such a good versatile guitar player he should not confine himself to this folk genre.

  • @ mallamoozoo - don't worry dude I won't be.

  • hey great job it's realy a nice song keep it up

  • Well done Justin. Its great to see real music done so beautifully. After XFactor and all the other wannabe shows you show that real talent is permanent. I hope you get some success. A craftsman like yourself is a light in the dark dominated by Mr Cowell and his production line of covers singers

  • Very beautiful piece! greetings from south America

  • great song, love the album, well done teach.

  • well done, you're great !

  • Justin, I wish you the best of luck with your new CD. You're not only a great teacher, but also a great performer :)

  • Loved it - hope it brings you the success you so richly deserve. Thanks for everything Justin, the lessons, the music, the laughter. Live in peace.

  • Nice work, mellow and melodic. I was suprized actually, was expecting something jazzy or more technical, this is good as well. Now I have got to hear the whole CD!

  • beautyful song, my teacher

  • really nice

  • some musicians have something to say...others have to say somthing. Nice song with a nice video. Good job Justin!
