You should talk to the sound engineer next time, and see if they can give you a stereo feed from the mixing board. those built-in camera mics never do justice to the performances. It takes a bit more work to line them up in post, if your camera can't accept external audio feeds, but it's worth it. Your camera might have LineIn, in which case, get a Stereo TS-to-8th Inch cable, so you can grab a feed from the board.
You are an exception to the rule most of the time I get complimented for the sound on my videos, However, my camera does not except an outside source. I am not using the built in mic, I use an after market upgraded mic. Sony has their own shoe which limits me to using their product. The mic I use is a huge improvement to the built in mic. I will send you a video that was synced with a recording off the board.
Great stuff. Nelson always sounds great and the band. The HD recording seems to make a huge difference in quality probably the best clip of Nelson out of the many already on youtube. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure what you mean, this is a live recording, the sound was recorded by a sony stereo mike direct into the camera.
