If a law is passed that is immoral, inhumane, it is the citizens duty to disobey that law. For example, a law that interferes with a humans right to end his life painlessly, humanely, and with dignity is a law that should be disobeyed. The right to die cannot be obstructed by law, its a human right.

Forbidding someone to end their own life on the basis of YOUR religion (and let's not act like this isn't the problem please) is immoral and unconstitutional. When the government passes a law that limits your rights based on a religious argument, that is unconstitutional. The image of the flag is irrelevant to the bigger picture. How is he sick for granting the wishes of others? Starving yourself to death is irrational, so what makes it more rational as a means of going with peace?
