Cowboy Bebop is very much about human ties and how we relate to ourselves and others. That Spike should choose to confront Vicious for himself as well as for others adds that much more to the final message. Spikes must die in the battle against Vicious, if only for the very simple reason that his survival would negate the value of his decision and sacrifice. Spike must die, not for theatrical purposes but to add to the message that the creators of the series wanted us to see.

well i just watched this on dvd, and theres a credit sequence, and at the end of the credits it shows spikes face in black and white, and right befor that it shows a stare filled sky, the camera focuses on the brightest star in the sky, and then the star fades into black, disapearring, i think that deff symbolizes hes dead, especially after the scene with the indian,

They leave it to you to decide if he's dead or not. The idea is that it could've been Vicious' star going out after the credits. As umbillicalnoose said, the creators said he could be alive or dead. Also at the end it said "You're gonna carry that weight" instead of the usual "See you space cowboy".

First of all, it is subtitled in Portuguese with Brazilian orthography. Not in Spanish.

Secondly, the series was made in Japan, so we must not strange if it is dubtitled in Japanese lol. You can prefer English dubs but why do you question this video. You can find other videos in youtube dubbed in English.
