@PhilMcCrack1 ACTA is an agreement between multiple countries. Legislature from the united states wont affect ACTA in any way because those countries don't have to listen to us, so protest and black out would be pointless. SOPA and PIPA were united states bills, that's why we were able to put a stop to it as a people. ACTA would only be halted if people world wide protested against it and did something about it.
@PhilMcCrack1 ACTA was signed by the U.S., Canada & Japan back in 2009 :(
afaik, the U.K. hasn't and so we're really hoping they keep the resistance up. I suppose though our countries can still back out if we make our voices heard.
HD, fantasy wasn't ready, it's simple. Jaedong had the lair hidden well, fantasy had no idea until the 2nd scout, and at that point it was too late (no eng bay). Most of the time the T would be able to scout a teching Z early and get turrets before mutas even arrive. It was over at ~5-6minutes.
One reason that Broodwar is better than SC2 is that the units will not cluster in a ball-like fashion, because you can only select 12 units at a time. So you will feel the units are more spread out, you will feel the movement of units is more dynamic and the battle is more dynamic as well, and you will feel that the battle is in a larger scale because of the spreading-out effect.
That can be done in SC2 manually and should be in most cases as it helps facilitate the concave. SC2 pros are no where near as verse in SC2 as BW pros are with BW. SC2 pros have a lot committed to muscle memory and instinct, but there's still a ton they don't, a ton they have to focus on and think during a game about instead of reacting from memory. BW pros of 3+ years damn near play autonomously, hitting identical statistics every game. SC2 is just not there yet.
The game is so much better, infinitiely superior. The main reason its better to me is that battles rage everywhere and there are no balls of death (partly due to the fact that units seem to take up more "space" than they do in sc2)
