Great 90's video collection.Great contribution (gndcd402,PJ17MKD,pjvideoguy,gloryha45679,...)...really."Cojonudo" might be the word,but,you know...XD.
This version of Footsteps was the very first time I´ve ever heard this song, back 15 years ago, in a very poorly recorded bootleg.
Never imagine that someday I would have the opportunity to SEE that version played... the faces, the vibe, the youth, the fingers doing the solo, just amazing.
the way eddie puts his hands on his chest.... touching song, beautiful, can't stop listening to it ever since I heard it
I think Ten the way it is is just perfect, I kinda agree with musicfreak1331 , Ten has a different vibe totally. Plus, being a b side doesn't mean its a bad song or takes dignity out of it, it just didn't fit in Ten.
Plus, everything they do is perfect, Pearl Jam will never die!
I bought the Ten Super Deluxe Reissue album right after it came out that had a bunch of awesome extra stuff like the cassette tape that eddie sent out as a demo which ended up him becoming the singer for pearl jam.
Excellent !! But I still prefer Cornell's Temple of th Dog Time of Trouble... I can't think of any other piece of music that has end up in two amazing songs so different but so good...
quite upbeat and beautiful for such an ugly subject, yet pearl jam manage to do this for so many of their songs - genius I love this song - what Album was it on, did it end up being a B-Side? It was in the Ten era, and was better than deep or release so...
I can see why it's just a different vibe from Ten; if your really think about it were would you put it Ten has a very distinct vibe . I don't know that my opinion I think it would just throw it off.
No no no, I think It would end the album really well - the song has a really nice air of finality about it - I thnk it should have been alive first, then once and then footsteps last, spread throughout the album, so that the mamasan trilogy encompassed the whole experience, gave it and underlying theme - I think that would've been really cool
A lot of pain !
