hell yea! I'm actually listening to Dudio right now; no joke. if you're ever in L.A., you should come check out Project Infest -- look us up on facebook :)
I love your shots of the stationary views from the train to the world passing by, framed by the car. In the Down Time video, especially, the long shot of the blue sky and the car behind you was daring and extremely successful. Keep up the great work. Strongest point by far, though, is your exceptional taste in music. I'm being introduced to so many bands just by looking through your vids, and that in turn makes me seek out more of your work. Cheers, Juli
@JuliLindsey Thanks for leaving such a nice comment!
I spend a lot of time editing and looking for good music that fits well. It makes me feel good that you feel like you came away with something from watching some of my videos!
I remember years ago i sat in jail for like 6 months, looking out my window every day all day, watching the world buzz like a massive colony of cancer bees my favorite thing was watching hte trains, counting the DPU's and cars, wells, gondolas, reefers - etc,. and decided when i got out i would go there and wait fdor one and ride it to where ever it went, never did it got too carried away with life once i got out - or so i thought. now I have and I'm realy living!
A very appropriate mix of footage and music. The first song is awsome, I would also like qwatae to know who the artist is. Greetings from the Netherlands, far away over the Atlantic.
this is a great video, lol & I dont mean to be a bother but could you tell me the exact title of the first track? sounds like mcdougall but I cant seem to find it on either one of his albums.
oh sorry! thank you but I meant the first song that starts at :35, isn't it McDougall? I previewed all the songs on his site, and GP 3's site, I searched for the lyrics but I still can't find it.. if you know the song title it would really help me out, thanks!!
also your videos are great, lots of helpful information
This is beautiful...I have something coming up in February that will determine what I'll end up doing for the rest of my life. Does anyone know of anywhere in Southern Illinois that's a meet up point? Thanks for posting. Anyone with an answer feel free to message me.
to my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong, but I've HEARD that some train hopping, transient, or tramp fare make it around the caves/camps in the Shawnee forest in the summertime for certain gatherings and events...I know it USED to be true, but it may not be anymore. Probably just a bunch of people doing drugs. Idk... lol.
@shellystonespoop i don't know of a point but i'm interested in doing this. I'm in the Edwardsville/St. Louis area. message me if you find one yourself!
@shellystonespoop i found a rail yard in granite city (near STL) and an industrial parkway (in East STL) which i'm going to scout for potential "meet up points" in Southern IL message me for more details (i added you on here)

Fark yeah. Nice video. Great train songs, too. Is that second song "Highball Breakdown"?
I'm feeling another itch coming on. Gotta pack up and go soon. North, East, South? Look out for Shack... no gun, but he drags a kingpin under the train to git ya on the rods. Phantom 13 uses a rusty rail spike to the neck. It's brutal out there on the high iron.
You said your a guy with a huge passion for riding trains, so you risk going 2 jail or getting shot at from a train conductor, I hear that they carry guns
whats that brilliant guitar song called?

Well they do not carry guns, and if they shot at me or anyone else they would be going to jail. It's not the 1930's anymore.
Jail is just part of it... Still worth it.
