VERY interesting that Donna is introduced to the strains of LTLYB, considering that she pretty much disowned that song during that time period. Wonder if she knew about it prior to her appearance. Donna was EXTREMELY thin in 1983/84 (she's practically Diana Ross-skinny in the "Hot Summer Night" special, and this clip)...I agree, she looks better with more curves.
I think she ignored it! In fact she looked a bit irritated when the presenter reminded her tha she was very famous for songs like love to love, try me, I feel love etc. It's not on the video, it's on the rest of the interview that I cut...
I have a clip somewhere of Diana Ross appearing on an Italian variety show, and the host was lascivious about Diana's sex appeal to the point of being borderline-offensive (esp. considering Ross' [and Summer's, for that matter] major star status); IF it had been an American show, with our overly-PC zealousness. It just sounds more charming in Italian. LOL.
She looks as black Barbie..!!
