Actually, there was a proposed amendment to remove the 22nd (albeit one that will go nowhere) but I do believe the 22nd along w/ the 16th should be abolished, simply for being undemocratic (22nd) and (for the 16th) we did fine w/o it up till 1913 (Woodrow Wilson; prohibition, world war I, and income tax all in one administration.....) However Obunghole will not get a 2nd much less a 3rd, however i would like it gone for good presidents

Rush sure missed the boat on this one. For Obama to serve three terms, he first of all will have to serve two terms. Obviously, that means Obama to be re-elected in 2012. Fat chance. The American people are waking up and will get their heads screwed on properly before then.

The president of Honduras was trying to change the Constitution, to allow a third term, through democratic channels. He was trying to get the law changed, through legal channels. A real dictator would have just stayed in power at the end of his second term. Again, Rush shows how little he knows about democracy.

Rush you entertain me. Where does he come up with this? The Honduran president is not a dictator. He was democratically elected, and was overthrown by a militia. Sure he was trying to change their constitution so he could run for re-election, but that doesn't make him a dictator. Rush gets paid loads of money to spew garbage to his cult-like followers.

actually the dictator in Honduras was not elected according to their constitution. He was limited on his terms. The supreme court of Honduras ordered the military to remove him because whet he did was illegal.

It was their constitution that was not being followed by their leader. he usurped it. Their supreme court declared he be removed not a militia.

the point is that the president of Honduras did not have the right to call the referendum on changing the constitution on his own - it has to be called by popular vote. The militia removed him from office on orders FROM THEIR SUPREME COURT.
