I want one of these rem 700 sps tacticals in 308. i'm undecided tho. would you recommend starting out with the plain one, or with Remington 700SPS TACT AAC-SD Brakeout with the 1/10 twist which has the threaded barrel and muzzle brake already? it's only a 40 dollar difference.
My girlfriend was left handed and I got her started out shooting right handed and it became habit for her after a while. She became quite a good shot haha
Shooting offhand just means you are standing and shooting the weapon as you raise it to your shoulder quickly, as in when you have a target suddenly exposed but no time to get in position or use artificial support. As in 'right offhand I am not sure'. Shooting with your opposite hand is just that, shooting with your opposite hand.
I like you youtube posts. good stuff. Question, have you experianced any affects from the barrel touching the stock? It is alway brought up but know one seems to mind. Is it possable to shave the stock down to make it free floating?
A 12 twist is plenty fast enough for bullets through 180 grain range. I shoot mine to 1000 yards in F class. I shoot the Nolser 175 grain match bullet over 44.6 grains of N150. If you use a faster enough powder ( like varget) you can push a 175 grain match bullet past 2700 FPS with a 20 inch barrel. 2570 FPS is fast enough to remain stable at 1000 yards. I have even seen 12 twist guns stabalize 208 grain bullets but it is rare.
Hey not sure if u know this but the 175 gr bullet is a little heavy no doubt your rifle is same 1 in 12 twist as mine at longer ranges its not enough twist to stabilize your bullet will begin to keyhole after 700 yards or so i use a Winchester 168gr silver ballistic tip boat tail. If your shooting farther than 500 try them.
@rab1dg0053 yes i do realize that, would be better if i was using the aac-sd 700 tactical which has a 1 10" twist.. i have shot those bullets.. i use them for hunting.. for targets though i find they are absolute garbage. they are so inaccurate. best group was like 1.5 inches at 100 yards. brutal!
by the way, I don't know if you know this trick or not, but when you load it, if you want to load Five Rounds Rather then Four, then load the four in, then slip One round in the Chamber, then depress the other rounds down, and slip the Bolt over the top of them... I am not sure if this trick works with the SPS tactical, but I know it does with the SPS tactical AAC-SD. Sincerely- Brownnz.
@drewbaby20 - Ahh, then once I get my SPS Tactical, I will not be doing it, unless of course I m on the Battle Field and need that extra shot. Sincerely- Brownnz.
@drewbaby20 - Okay, thanks for the input! I plan on getting a Remington 700 SPS Varmint chamber in .308 WIN, and I want to set it up as a tactical Sniper Rifle, so getting a new Bolt Handle is pretty much a neccessety. Nice Rifle man! Sincerely- Brownnz.
@StandsOnGuard cheek rest i found new on ebay from a store... really hard to come by now.. the brake is a roedale precision c21.5 designed for this barrel and ones similar like it (not a standard 700 barrel) and the brake was ordered custom from germany.

@StandsOnGuard hey sorry its been a while since i've been checking my messages, the cheek rest is supposedly super hard to find now, i guess i got mine right before they were off the market.. the brake unfortunately is only available straight from the factory for us canadians, but i know of a guy in the states that has had a bunch shipped to him, only problem is to have it shipped her to canada from the states.. i had no problems having it shipped from germany though!

What kind of scope is it, because Thats what I'll be using it for, and 275 ain't bad considering other videos and forums people were bitching and complaining about people that don't spend more on the scope than they did on the rifle. Lol
I love that gun tho, I shot one the other day and have been curious about them ever since, I found one for $590 on impactgunsdotcom, and it looks like I'll have to get it lol, can you suggest a good scope? And how much?
@uhhhhNick its a great gun to say the least, and thats a great price. as for scope.. get whatever you think youll need for whatever application youre going to use the gun for. i use mine mainly for target shooting/long range.. 10x seems to be pretty good for all of that.. my scope ran 275 i think? and i love it
@TheFr1ch i cant count the number of times i have had to explain this to people. This is not a standard 700 sps. this is an "SPS Tactical" it is a gun in and of its own. not a 700 with the crappy factory stock. this gun only comes in right handed and in .308 or .223 both with a 20" heavy barrel and hogue stock.
@MrBobsrevenge from roedale.de aka roedale precision out of germany. website is in german until you translate then go to webshop. it is a c21.5 muzzle brake
@drewbaby20 the sps tactical is still a 700. there is nothing crappy about any 700, just the stocks arent fully floated nor do they have an aluminum bedding. The 700 action, which is on your sps tactical, is the best action made for any rifle in history. so it would be best not to criticize the 700 before you really know it
@remington700man sorry i should have clarified.. after reading my post i understand where you're coming from.. i know the action is a 700.. thats all the 700 is. barrel stock trigger etc arent specific to any 700.
@drewbaby20 yea thats true, i have the vtr and thats the only one with a triangular barrel. but that action is sweet. my buddy has a browning xbolt and its so stiff
Did you ever consider to practice your off-hand shooting until it becomes mainhand? I'm left handed and did that. But then I did not have much shooting experience when I decided to switch.
The reason was that to get your licence for hunting rifles here you need to hit a moving target twice in about 4 seconds.
@waencirion ya it would have been better to start from the beginning.. so i dont no how easy it would be... would take a while. and wow, where are you from that you have to do that? I think i could pop off 3 rounds in 4 seconds left handed with my gun when im really being quick. but having that for a test to go hunting seems ridiculous
I'm from Sweden. We have quite strict requirements to get a licence for a weapon. Probably to make sure that John Doe does not rob a bank with his bolt action rifle.
Irony aside it's not anything inhuman, 80m (88yds) and a moose killzone to hit. Most people tend to get it right after say 50 rounds of practice.
Are you measuring the groupings from outside edge of round to outside edge of round, or from center to center? I ask, because it looks like you are measuring outside edge.... but I';d expect that center to center would be the right way to measure?
@betzstump you know what i never knew that, but measuring center to center is correct.. what you can do as well is measure the two outside edges as i did, and then subject the bullet diameter for an exact center to center size.
Looks like you have good overall form, and have a lot of the basics down, but you want to smooth our your trigger control, it still looks like you're punching it. The sooner you get past this the quicker you will watch your groups shrink.
@burritosandbeer i know thanks. im workin on it. trigger is adjustable and thats the only problem... the adjustment says you can take it down to 2 pounds but its heavier than that, i want to get it really low like less than a pound then i know i could get way better control over it.
@drewbaby20 Thats arguable... Personally I prefer a trigger thats closer to three pounds because I enjoy being able to apply constant pressure until it fires and with a trigger that only has a pull of 12 oz-1lb I noticed myself accidentally discharging. But to each his own...
The only thing I can recommended is that you smooth out your trigger control and keep squeezing the trigger for a few seconds after the round goes off.
@TheMisfit621 thanks man, and i know what you mean about accidental discharge, my brother just picked up a browning target rifle and the trigger on it is something like 6 oz, its crazy.. but ya something like 1.5 pounds would be perfect for me.
@TexasLegend93 the brake is a roedale precision c21.5 muzzle brake (clamp on) and the range is called the regina fish and game league range at the condie refuge just outside of regina saskatchewan canada
@TexasLegend93 noooo they are still bad but not that bad... three classes of firearms in Canada - non-restricted (bolt guns, hunting rifles, shotguns, etc), restricted (handguns, rifles with short barrels, scary looking firearms), prohibited (suppressors, fully-automatic firearms). A prohibited license is virtually impossible to get.
@TexasLegend93 lol no doubt.. i have both my restricted and non-restricted so it is nice but restricted firearms are limited to shooting at a range :(
i have foregone doing the break and instead did an upgrade on my optics.i got a leupold mark 4 in 6.5-20x50.any idea what height of rings i use if i have a 20 moa base?but i will still get one of them breaks.
ur better than me i cant close my opposite eye to shoot lefty i couldnt figure out why i couldnt see anything lol but thats one hell of a rifle if i was stuck on a island it would be a remmy 700 wish i never sold mine had a leupold mark 4 upgraded short bolt polished everything extended box for more ammo 6 ounce trigger better saftey and i had a light weight stock with a harris bi pod if times werent bad back then id still have it
i am looking to possibly purchase one of these within the next year if you could please send me some pictures of the rifle and a list of modifications you would recomend it would be gratly appreciated
dude I love your gun, you're basically convincing me to buy one of these, still saving up. Could you do a video maybe with tests of your favorite/most accurate ammo for this gun and then show us the groups? of course I know your life doesn't revolve around youtube so live your life first, then youtube.
@moldymuffin111 well so far these a-max's are my favorite rounds/most consitent. i will be reloading in the near future so hopefully ill be able to upload a vid of powders used, brass used, techniques i like etc etc.
@mr010tommy010 well there we go, i searched the same thing and it came up with a different list of sites, anyways pre 1982 700's and 40x's are what are being recalled.
@mr010tommy010 i dont see any evidence of the recall, besides its not for all 700's, it is for ones produced between two dates and with their factory trigger, this is their x-mark trigger.
@mr010tommy010 sorry i meant, IF there is a recall, that is what will be affected.. and i just checked a few sites, nothing so far. remington would have it up pretty quick if they did in fact do a recall.. they have the say to do the recall. government cant do anything.
@drewbaby20 how did you get the muzzle break done?did you have to put threadings close to the muzzle to screw it in?did you have to modify the rifle to accept the break?is that a 20 in barrel?i have a PSS in .308.i shoot sub moa using 168 gr hornady BTHP w/44 gr of imr 4320 but the recoil is a bit much for my liking .this is the reason i want your break.hope you'll respond soon.
@triggersafe muzzle brake is clamp on, no modifications to gun required. it is the 20 inch heavy barrel. this brake is great if you do alot of target shooting like i. recoil reduction by about 50%.. go to roedale.de its in germany.. 260 shipped CDN for the C21.5 muzzle brake. be sure to measure the diameter of your barrel before ordering as it is very particular on size.
Hey drewbaby20 i plan on gettin one of these and my target distance for it is 500 yards. what kinda groups are you gettin with this rifle at that distance? and i was wonderin if it affects the accuracy much if a bipod is attached and the barrel is no longer free floating. thanks enjoy the vids keep uploadin em
@mattbouldin1 well if you check out my 543 yard vid i am shooting about MOA for 500 yards aka 5" groups. that was with garbage ammo too.. might have just been lucky that day. but it shoots true at 500 for sure.. i have taken it out to 600 max so far.. and plan to push it further.
@drewbaby20 wow thats pretty good considerin that you were usin a bipod and that no longer leaves the barrel freefloating, i thought about gettin an hs precision stock (same as the 700p) after i purchased the rifle, but i dont see why if it is that accurate not free floatin. loved the paintball vid, " NOT ON MY WATCH"
@mattbouldin1 when i use a bipod it is still free floating, just some people have this problem.. my stock does not touch the barrel at anytime. And you are one of the only people who have watched my paintball vid hahaha
@drewbaby20 "FACE ME FACE ME", oh well what ive heard is that when a bipod or bag is used it is like that, i just hope that i am not one of those unlucky people who have the problem because i really like the feel and shape of a hogue stock. oh and by the way which one of the guys are you in viking night because none of the guys in the video call someone else agnar as far as i remember
@mattbouldin1 haha ya me and my buddy were just having a fun time. ya most people have that problem with the bipod or bag.. im lucky though, it gets close but i can still slide paper underneath it.
as for the viking night video.. did you watch part deux? I mainly am filming but when i show pictures i am at 7:40 to 7:45 and at 8:10 i am sitting at the bottom with the shield and sword in the air lol.
@drewbaby20 oh yea i see you, sorry for posting all the comments but i have to ask you when do you think you will post another vid of this gun? oh and one more thing, where did you get the ballistic tables for the 168 grains? "BRING ME CHICKEN NOW"
@mattbouldin1 bahaha! not a problem my man, i enjoy helping others out as of right now i am using a ballistics calculator for iphone, it is extremely accurate.. called isnipe. i also have the program "shoot" for windows.. it is okay. i have been making my own tables as well based on the information i get from my calculator and by trial and error.
@mattbouldin1 oh and im not surew when i will post another vid.. it started to snow and get cold here so im not really sure.. all i know is that im getting boned in school right now, midterms and papers but one of these days ill get a day off and head to the range.
@mattbouldin1 AND, last time i went to the range i was shooting pretty much only 168 gr a-max's and was getting AWFUL groups, like 1-2" at best.. couldnt figure out why, until i realized i had adjusted my trigger prior to going out, once i realized this difference i had a different grip and squeeze on the trigger, brought the groups in much tighter.. but took my roughly 50 rounds to figure out what was wrong. :(
@mattbouldin1 like i said i make them myself, however you can check out sniper central they have a-max ballistic charts, however they are based off of hsm loads. so the ballistic coefficient and everything is accurate, but because of powder load, type of powder, brass, bullet seating etc, it may vary the trajectory of the round.. it would be a good chart to get for reference, but i wouldnt expect it to be dead on accurate..
@drewbaby20 well i plan to use primarily federal gold metal match bthp 168 grs and im sure i could find charts but i also think that its best to make them yourself, so whens the next vid comin?
@mattbouldin1 sorry man when you see that i replied to you i know it only comes up once but i replied to you on all your questions just check all these comments lol. i said the next vid may be a while cuz of school and that it has been starting to snow. and if you are using gold medal match 168's im pretty sure sniper central has that chart. check it out
@mattbouldin1 all good my man, lemme know if there is anything else you need.. if you're interested in audio, or my other rifle check out those vids too!
@drewbaby20 i dont really know a whole lot about audio, speakers, etc., but i really like the 15-22 vids, but the sps tac vids are what turned me on to your channel cause your vids are alot more informal about the rifle than alot that i have seen. oh and if the taliban dropped in the 15-22 and the sps tac would make a great sniper/spotter combo lol
@jeepnicc a remington weaver mount, cant remember the exact model number, and i am unsure about the rings.. they were a gift.. they work though so thats all that matters! my base actually came loose one day.. no wonder my 100 yard target went from dead on to 4 MOA off! lol anyways i put lock tight on the screws.. seems to hold up now.

@uhhhhNick ya man definitely.. this is a bushnell elite 3200 10x40 with target knobs.

I love that gun tho, I shot one the other day and have been curious about them ever since, I found one for $590 on impactgunsdotcom, and it looks like I'll have to get it lol, can you suggest a good scope? And how much?
uhhhhNick 1 year ago
@uhhhhNick its a great gun to say the least, and thats a great price. as for scope.. get whatever you think youll need for whatever application youre going to use the gun for. i use mine mainly for target shooting/long range.. 10x seems to be pretty good for all of that.. my scope ran 275 i think? and i love it
drewbaby20 1 year ago
I'm left handed too but I somehow prefer cycling a right handed rifle, weird I know lol
uhhhhNick 1 year ago
@uhhhhNick yep same!
drewbaby20 1 year ago
YOu know they make these for left handers. I got my 700 30-06 l.h.
TheFr1ch 1 year ago
@TheFr1ch i cant count the number of times i have had to explain this to people. This is not a standard 700 sps. this is an "SPS Tactical" it is a gun in and of its own. not a 700 with the crappy factory stock. this gun only comes in right handed and in .308 or .223 both with a 20" heavy barrel and hogue stock.
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 whered you get the muzzle brake?
MrBobsrevenge 1 year ago
@MrBobsrevenge from roedale.de aka roedale precision out of germany. website is in german until you translate then go to webshop. it is a c21.5 muzzle brake
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 the sps tactical is still a 700. there is nothing crappy about any 700, just the stocks arent fully floated nor do they have an aluminum bedding. The 700 action, which is on your sps tactical, is the best action made for any rifle in history. so it would be best not to criticize the 700 before you really know it
remington700man 11 months ago
@remington700man sorry i should have clarified.. after reading my post i understand where you're coming from.. i know the action is a 700.. thats all the 700 is. barrel stock trigger etc arent specific to any 700.
drewbaby20 11 months ago
@drewbaby20 yea thats true, i have the vtr and thats the only one with a triangular barrel. but that action is sweet. my buddy has a browning xbolt and its so stiff
remington700man 11 months ago
Did you ever consider to practice your off-hand shooting until it becomes mainhand? I'm left handed and did that. But then I did not have much shooting experience when I decided to switch.
The reason was that to get your licence for hunting rifles here you need to hit a moving target twice in about 4 seconds.
waencirion 1 year ago
@waencirion ya it would have been better to start from the beginning.. so i dont no how easy it would be... would take a while. and wow, where are you from that you have to do that? I think i could pop off 3 rounds in 4 seconds left handed with my gun when im really being quick. but having that for a test to go hunting seems ridiculous
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20
I'm from Sweden. We have quite strict requirements to get a licence for a weapon. Probably to make sure that John Doe does not rob a bank with his bolt action rifle.
Irony aside it's not anything inhuman, 80m (88yds) and a moose killzone to hit. Most people tend to get it right after say 50 rounds of practice.
waencirion 1 year ago
a possible helpful tip for you to improve your accuracy is to softly squeeze the trigger rather than pulling it as rapidly as you are in the video

drewbaby20 1 year ago
Are you measuring the groupings from outside edge of round to outside edge of round, or from center to center? I ask, because it looks like you are measuring outside edge.... but I';d expect that center to center would be the right way to measure?
betzstump 1 year ago
@betzstump you know what i never knew that, but measuring center to center is correct.. what you can do as well is measure the two outside edges as i did, and then subject the bullet diameter for an exact center to center size.
drewbaby20 1 year ago
Looks like you have good overall form, and have a lot of the basics down, but you want to smooth our your trigger control, it still looks like you're punching it. The sooner you get past this the quicker you will watch your groups shrink.
Looks like a nice setup though
burritosandbeer 1 year ago
@burritosandbeer i know thanks. im workin on it. trigger is adjustable and thats the only problem... the adjustment says you can take it down to 2 pounds but its heavier than that, i want to get it really low like less than a pound then i know i could get way better control over it.
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 Thats arguable... Personally I prefer a trigger thats closer to three pounds because I enjoy being able to apply constant pressure until it fires and with a trigger that only has a pull of 12 oz-1lb I noticed myself accidentally discharging. But to each his own...
The only thing I can recommended is that you smooth out your trigger control and keep squeezing the trigger for a few seconds after the round goes off.
Oh and by the way, NICE SHOOTING! :)
TheMisfit621 1 year ago
@TheMisfit621 thanks man, and i know what you mean about accidental discharge, my brother just picked up a browning target rifle and the trigger on it is something like 6 oz, its crazy.. but ya something like 1.5 pounds would be perfect for me.

hey bro what kind of break did you use on your rifle? and were is that range??
TexasLegend93 1 year ago
@TexasLegend93 the brake is a roedale precision c21.5 muzzle brake (clamp on) and the range is called the regina fish and game league range at the condie refuge just outside of regina saskatchewan canada
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 Woahh you can own a bolt gun in Canada???
TexasLegend93 1 year ago
@TexasLegend93 lol yes
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 damn...and here I thought Canada had as bad of gun laws as Mexico lol
TexasLegend93 1 year ago
@TexasLegend93 noooo they are still bad but not that bad... three classes of firearms in Canada - non-restricted (bolt guns, hunting rifles, shotguns, etc), restricted (handguns, rifles with short barrels, scary looking firearms), prohibited (suppressors, fully-automatic firearms). A prohibited license is virtually impossible to get.
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 Haha wow. Come on over to America we respect the individual right to self defense!
TexasLegend93 1 year ago
@TexasLegend93 lol no doubt.. i have both my restricted and non-restricted so it is nice but restricted firearms are limited to shooting at a range :(

triggersafe 1 year ago
@triggersafe i would just get the medium height rings.. and ya man a brake is worth it if you are going to be target shooting.

ok just search Remington 700 recall
mr010tommy010 1 year ago
@mr010tommy010 well there we go, i searched the same thing and it came up with a different list of sites, anyways pre 1982 700's and 40x's are what are being recalled.
drewbaby20 1 year ago
HEY THEY JUSt recalled all 700 they shoot by them self ,,look it up be careful,,,my dad has one just like that, no joke b
mr010tommy010 1 year ago
@mr010tommy010 i dont see any evidence of the recall, besides its not for all 700's, it is for ones produced between two dates and with their factory trigger, this is their x-mark trigger.
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@mr010tommy010 sorry i meant, IF there is a recall, that is what will be affected.. and i just checked a few sites, nothing so far. remington would have it up pretty quick if they did in fact do a recall.. they have the say to do the recall. government cant do anything.
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 how did you get the muzzle break done?did you have to put threadings close to the muzzle to screw it in?did you have to modify the rifle to accept the break?is that a 20 in barrel?i have a PSS in .308.i shoot sub moa using 168 gr hornady BTHP w/44 gr of imr 4320 but the recoil is a bit much for my liking .this is the reason i want your break.hope you'll respond soon.
triggersafe 1 year ago
@triggersafe muzzle brake is clamp on, no modifications to gun required. it is the 20 inch heavy barrel. this brake is great if you do alot of target shooting like i. recoil reduction by about 50%.. go to roedale.de its in germany.. 260 shipped CDN for the C21.5 muzzle brake. be sure to measure the diameter of your barrel before ordering as it is very particular on size.
drewbaby20 1 year ago
Hey drewbaby20 i plan on gettin one of these and my target distance for it is 500 yards. what kinda groups are you gettin with this rifle at that distance? and i was wonderin if it affects the accuracy much if a bipod is attached and the barrel is no longer free floating. thanks enjoy the vids keep uploadin em
mattbouldin1 1 year ago
@mattbouldin1 well if you check out my 543 yard vid i am shooting about MOA for 500 yards aka 5" groups. that was with garbage ammo too.. might have just been lucky that day. but it shoots true at 500 for sure.. i have taken it out to 600 max so far.. and plan to push it further.
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 wow thats pretty good considerin that you were usin a bipod and that no longer leaves the barrel freefloating, i thought about gettin an hs precision stock (same as the 700p) after i purchased the rifle, but i dont see why if it is that accurate not free floatin. loved the paintball vid, " NOT ON MY WATCH"
mattbouldin1 1 year ago
@mattbouldin1 when i use a bipod it is still free floating, just some people have this problem.. my stock does not touch the barrel at anytime. And you are one of the only people who have watched my paintball vid hahaha
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 "FACE ME FACE ME", oh well what ive heard is that when a bipod or bag is used it is like that, i just hope that i am not one of those unlucky people who have the problem because i really like the feel and shape of a hogue stock. oh and by the way which one of the guys are you in viking night because none of the guys in the video call someone else agnar as far as i remember
mattbouldin1 1 year ago
@mattbouldin1 haha ya me and my buddy were just having a fun time. ya most people have that problem with the bipod or bag.. im lucky though, it gets close but i can still slide paper underneath it.
as for the viking night video.. did you watch part deux? I mainly am filming but when i show pictures i am at 7:40 to 7:45 and at 8:10 i am sitting at the bottom with the shield and sword in the air lol.
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 oh yea i see you, sorry for posting all the comments but i have to ask you when do you think you will post another vid of this gun? oh and one more thing, where did you get the ballistic tables for the 168 grains? "BRING ME CHICKEN NOW"
mattbouldin1 1 year ago
@mattbouldin1 bahaha! not a problem my man, i enjoy helping others out as of right now i am using a ballistics calculator for iphone, it is extremely accurate.. called isnipe. i also have the program "shoot" for windows.. it is okay. i have been making my own tables as well based on the information i get from my calculator and by trial and error.
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@mattbouldin1 oh and im not surew when i will post another vid.. it started to snow and get cold here so im not really sure.. all i know is that im getting boned in school right now, midterms and papers but one of these days ill get a day off and head to the range.
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@mattbouldin1 AND, last time i went to the range i was shooting pretty much only 168 gr a-max's and was getting AWFUL groups, like 1-2" at best.. couldnt figure out why, until i realized i had adjusted my trigger prior to going out, once i realized this difference i had a different grip and squeeze on the trigger, brought the groups in much tighter.. but took my roughly 50 rounds to figure out what was wrong. :(
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 that really sucks, ammunition is expensive now, but were could i get the ballistic tables for the 168 grs
mattbouldin1 1 year ago
@mattbouldin1 like i said i make them myself, however you can check out sniper central they have a-max ballistic charts, however they are based off of hsm loads. so the ballistic coefficient and everything is accurate, but because of powder load, type of powder, brass, bullet seating etc, it may vary the trajectory of the round.. it would be a good chart to get for reference, but i wouldnt expect it to be dead on accurate..
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 well i plan to use primarily federal gold metal match bthp 168 grs and im sure i could find charts but i also think that its best to make them yourself, so whens the next vid comin?
mattbouldin1 1 year ago
@mattbouldin1 sorry man when you see that i replied to you i know it only comes up once but i replied to you on all your questions just check all these comments lol. i said the next vid may be a while cuz of school and that it has been starting to snow. and if you are using gold medal match 168's im pretty sure sniper central has that chart. check it out
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 sorry bout that, i was only checkin under my last message and not the rest of the comment page. my bad
mattbouldin1 1 year ago
@mattbouldin1 all good my man, lemme know if there is anything else you need.. if you're interested in audio, or my other rifle check out those vids too!
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 i dont really know a whole lot about audio, speakers, etc., but i really like the 15-22 vids, but the sps tac vids are what turned me on to your channel cause your vids are alot more informal about the rifle than alot that i have seen. oh and if the taliban dropped in the 15-22 and the sps tac would make a great sniper/spotter combo lol
mattbouldin1 1 year ago
@mattbouldin1 haha that is true! keep my trusty 50 yarder right beside me. :)
drewbaby20 1 year ago
@drewbaby20 well thanks for the info and once i get mine ill post some vids if i can figure out how to
mattbouldin1 1 year ago
Hey man, sorry if you mentioned this in another vid, but what rings n mounts are you using?
jeepnicc 1 year ago
@jeepnicc a remington weaver mount, cant remember the exact model number, and i am unsure about the rings.. they were a gift.. they work though so thats all that matters! my base actually came loose one day.. no wonder my 100 yard target went from dead on to 4 MOA off! lol anyways i put lock tight on the screws.. seems to hold up now.
