There are transport vessels that have livestock that carry over sixteen thousand cattle. It is impossible to carry that much water on board so they convert sea water to fresh water which the cattle drink. They convert hundreds of thousands of litres per day on their ship and the cattle drink it. Can't this be done as well? Also, the American army have been doing it for decades at Guantanomo Bay with their men drinking the water produced.
Why dont they just have folks go to compost toilets, that ought to fix any perceived problems. We been in a drought with only the rain received it overflows my pool, which has only been filled with rainwater. That means my10,000 gallon pool has sustained its level (and even had to be emptied )through two droughts, one of which was 3 years long.
Its appears to be a CLEAN issue concerning water but it does appear to be a CONTROL issue. Droughts have happened through history my pool is full?

I think you need to update this. There is more water in Morton this year than I have seen in the 34 years I have lived in Riverton.

please explain me. how can there be water shortage when the earth is made up of 70% water?
joshrain1 3 years ago
Only a very small portion of that 70% is available for drinking.

don't they have plants to make this water drinkable?
joshrain1 3 years ago
Yes desalinization plants can make salt water safe to drink. But they come with many negative environmental aspects.
sashiadortman 3 years ago
Desalting sea water is a job,you can't drink it, and good water is hard tocomeby, and in short supply in alot of areas.

When all that water is gone where will the water buffalo and girraffs go to get water?
Or will they simply perish in that horrible desert?? DA???
