I thought the Finding Nemo show was horrid. The songs were just, ugh, sooo bad, and they rush through the storyline so fast.

how did you like the Lion King show?, i think it's the best show in all of the disney parks purely down to the song arrangement. Is there anything similiar to this in disneyland?

Wish you could have gotten on Everest during Previews/ First opened when EVERYTHING worked. There was haze at the train station and Yeti worked really well.

Glad you enjoyed DAK tho. Did you get to go over to Rafiki's Planet Watch or see Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade?

AHH i GEET EET!! Yeti in Matterhorn in DisneyLand had strobe light for effect, one in DisneyWorld actually moves!!!! AHAhhhhh XD Everest is my favorite ride in DisneyWorld, so detailed!

@M1CK3Yanimation Umm...which "It" are you talking about? I know Matterhorn hasn't been completely fixed for a while...but ive been to both parks within the last 3 yrs and both the yeti's have been there...the one in disneyworld was working normally...the yeti in disneyland's strobe light was working, that one has never moved.

@wiLemochick the one in disneyworld has been broken for 3 years. they were clever and put the strobe light on it as a fan to make it look like its moving. while convincing that it still works on the ride cuz you see it in such a short amount of time if you really know what youre looking for (the arm swiping at you) its clear that it no longer moves

@wiLemochick No. Even though the Yeti in Disneyland's Matterhorn is kinda cheap and from the 1980s it still works. At Disney World the yeti has been broken for 3 years because of a crack by the yeti's strong movements. If the crack gets any worse the whole mountain and ride system could collapse. So now they just keep him sitting there not moving at all.

@Benstudio13 But the Yeti in Disneyland doesn't move, it never has. All it is is a strobe light and glowing eyes. I was never saying that the DisneyLand yeti never "worked" (even though it does nothing already). Honestly, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU SAID "No" TO!!!

@wiLemochick It has moved before. It moves it's arms up and down and it's jaw does the same when it roars. When I said no I was replying to "the one in Disney World actually moves". It used to but now with the crack they had to shut him down. Tim was making fun of that by showing the Yeti from Everest and adding a strobe light effect to it which is how it looks now.

@wiLemochick Ok, all right. I got the whole thing about the Everest yeti. I didn't get the news that it was broken till now. and about disneyland, merely joking that the yeti there's moves pale in comparison to the disneyworld's when it was working. flailing arms and going "rawr!" isn't exactly as scary as an arm swooping down at you lol (but again, i get that disneyworld's yeti is broken)

You know I just got back from WDW and was wondering when the next part of this would be up, then when I decided to check my subscriptions...well, you get the idea. Sorry about the lack of footage..except for the antelope going potty xD I hope you had a good time there (not my favorite park but it's till fun) and can't wait for Part 3!

I have a friend who is Coordinator of the Asia section at AK. I have been in the Expedition Everest Tower and they told me that the Yeti hasn't worked in years. So now it IS just the lighting.

Hey, Tim. It's about time you uploaded Part 2 of your Disney World trip. I look forward to seeing how you will handle the remaining two parks. The shot where you pretend to swim in the fish tank is hilarious (too bad you didn't save it for the Seas With Nemo & Friends tank at Epcot). During my family's last Disney World trip, my girlfriend and I both got soaked on Kali River Rapids. But yeah Everest is the best ride at the Animal Kingdom.

Its like a little Matterhorn slapped aside Big Thunder Railroad next to the San Diego Wild Animal Park with Cirque du Soleil shows. Not sure it would be worth the trip unless they have bumper cars, tilt-a-whirls & Yakov Smirnoff playing the part of the Yeti. And Hippos can float (and swim), it was just shallow. By the way, did your wife go with you?
