  • @5191keith He said "all that has really changed in these hemi motors", not "all that has changed in these hemi super stock cars".

  • in less than 2 years these cars will be in the 7 second club

  • Domination ; )

  • Completely amazing performance, especially considering all that has really changed in these hemi motors since '68 is the intake manifold and camshaft technology. The carbs you must use in this class are the same as what they came with in '68....The heads are essentially the same configuration, however NHRA has allowed some runner size changes, but valve sizes must remain stock in diameter. Would you believe close to 1100 H.P. WITHOUT a blower or turbo!!!!

  • i thought stock and super stock cant burn out past starting line??

  • @sammycrabproductions Just stock can't.

  • Way to go Charlie!!!

  • Very fast., and a four speed car to boot!

  • congrats on the record, i love that car.

  • Years ago, before the internet, I wouldn't have heard about this run until, maybe, a few weeks later when my National Dragster would arrive in the mail. Now, not only have a heard about the run, I've seen the run! On the same day!

Congrats to the Westcott team on this tremendous achievement!

    First in the 7's? ;-)
