While this was cheap and everyone knows it, people need to stop hating on Cooke. He has cleaned up his game a lot since then and it shows with him having only 26 penalty minutes this year, the same number as David Krejci, Taylor Hall, and Zach Parise.
How weird is that Millbury calls it a potential career ending hit...and now it really pretty much is. Savy is still out and most likely is going to retire at the end or during this season because of this hit.
