the reason craviottos are insanely expensive is because of the way they're made...just as gretsch has a small team of drum builders and assembly people, so does craviotto...hand made , mostly 1 piece shells take a long time to make, which means plenty of man hours, and work..same with gretsch..you want top quality, you're gonna have to pay for it...
