I have the previous model, fz28 which i purchased 2 months ago. I hear this model uses less space for videos due to better compression. Do you know how many space this video takes up on hd video? For me, 9-10 mins uses about 1.8-2 gigs space. As a result I'm using WVGA mode instead which gives around 20 mins of video for the same amount of gigs.
OK I have the same camera and I can't get videos onto my computer, I tried Motion jpeg, and everything... any suggestions?

You could view motion jpeg file with quicktime player.
For AVCHD format, you could view it with the software provided with the camera.
or directly upload to youtube.

Thx a lot. I recorded this video in motion jpeg. It is in mov format, can be viewed by quicktime player, and upload directly without conversion.
