The myan calender doesn't predict the end of the world, as most of us see time as a straight line the myan's perceived time in cycles and when a cycle ended a new one began and so on, so this year will be the end of a certain cycle and the following year will begin the new cycle not the end of the world, also these things can be miss read or interpreted wrong also cultures like the myans were big into there rituals and mystical gods etc which people can miss interpret these as apocalypse

You see, my idea that there were originally two Myan calandrs...part 1 which ends on Dec 21, 2012 and part 2 that begins Dec 22, 2012. Part 2 is missing, so everyone thinks the world will end Dec 21, 2012. If you look real close in the area where it says Dec 21, 2012 there is a tiny notation that says "see part 2". 1) its a cycle just like years, centurys and such, like a season it gets to the next one. it takes 26,265 years to get to the next season or such.

You see, my idea that there were originally two Myan calandrs...part 1 which ends on Dec 21, 2012 and part 2 that begins Dec 22, 2012. Part 2 is missing, so everyone thinks the world will end Dec 21, 2012. If you look real close in the area where it says Dec 21, 2012 there is a tiny notation that says "see part 2". Besides, what kind of calendar is it anyway, without some pics of girls in skimpy bathing suits?

Till 2012 this combination was unique for every year and after 2012 There no uniqueness. THAT MEANS LAST YEAR IS 2012

@xRECONCILEDX That's half correct, half incorrect. The Mayan Calendar is a LINEAR calendar (The Long Count) within which CYCLICAL calendars (The Calendar Round) are contained. It's like a bicycle: traveling in a straight line while the pedals drive around in circles. But the entire thing does not spin around in circles in one place.
