I played this game. It's a really really weird game. It's not like any MMO I have ever played. I didn't really like it very much.

the game is F2P for now because it wasnt getting enough players they have stopped updating the game because they are working on a new client and a new way to increase game experience and such when it is done there will be two accounts free to play and pay to play hope this info helps.

you eventually get (unlock) more weapons and armor. they are however still astetic value (just for looks). You can get Orbs later to charge your weapons and such. Pretty cool.

you know what, this game has been one of the biggest let downs in my gaming experience. I had read evreything about this game, waited patiently for it, then i saw the videos.

the graphics are sub par, the character animation is crap, each race has the same exact animation,. there is no shadow reality to speak of. they changed the racial characteristics half way through development for the worse.

all the characters are now ugly whereas before it was a beautiful game.

Yes, I'm sub par. That's great if games have ungodly stories and amazing graphics. If the game play is broken/sucks, it will suck. Visit IGN and gamespot, and read some reviews. There are a few amazing looking games that score so low it hurts.

The publisher for your region (Eastern Europe) is Acclaim, who hasn't released their version yet. Only really Western Europe can play at the moment. So... wait a couple months and you can play ^^

1. I think level 1 characters should look a bit hoboish.

Is Spellborn More PvE, PvP or Both?

Also, is combat slow or is it relatively fast?

It's focusing on both, at least on PvP servers. If you're on PvE servers it's ofc more about the PvE part of the game.

It's hard to answer that question as fighting in TCoS really depends on your skill. It's not just pressing some buttons and winning the fight. You've got to move away, avoid attacks, try to backstab your opponent.

As soon as you get used to that your fights can be fast.
