@japanesetyperdriver I just learned of the "scalping" method which simplifies it so much but I'm gonna combine it with this for sure. Years ago I'd read somewhere that you quarter the fruit and then soak it in water to soften the shell so seeding is easier and that's the way I'd been doing it. It's was so laborious! haha

If you score directly on the ridges, you never have to put the arils in water.
