@cccsamacct well for starters you shouldnt rely on correct info from wiki-pedia- in actuallity, republican opposition was almost complete (much like it was to healthcare reform), the act passed narrowly by 4 votes in the senate with all republicans opposing- the dems sacrificed the party for civil rights, so much so that they were trounced in the next election and lost both houses- and for the next 22 years we only had one dem president, it was a huge political price, but the right thing to do

If you have an average internet connection (I have DSL speed 768kbps) I wouldn't recommend watching this. Youtube/Google needs to seriously reconsider how it formats these commercial-heavy videos because their inability to buffer makes them unwatchable. It's just constant stuttering and it appears that there's nothing you can do about it. Sad, because I'm guessing this is a really great program. Don't bother watching it on youtube though.
