This video is nothing but more baseless accusation. I live in a primarily black neighborhood here in Ohio and remember quite well the length of the line for voting. I showed up at about 9:30am, walked in and was at a voting machine in less than 2 minutes. After about 5 minutes at the machine I turned around and the line was out the door. Polling places have rushes and lulls just like a fast food joint, dependent upon the time of day and schedules of those that vote. This video is sheer blarney.

This is an important documentary and an important issue. I'm not convinced that the long lines at inner city polling places is a suppression conspiracy by Republicans, however, it is a major problem that could easily be solved if we had the political will to do so. For many reasons, we need to have a coordinated national system that provides consistency and fairness. Making each community responsible for its own election means that the more affluent areas can provide more than less affluent.

This video is a total deception. There are many who should have been interviewed who were not, leaders in the Ohio African American community who do not support Jesse Jackson's statements. Reports that were not cited, reports that paint a different picture. The goals here are to undermine the publics' confidence in elections, and they are doing a damn good job.  We have a problem with our elections, but it is fixable and not nearly as severe as many provocateurs would want you to believe.

If the "black vote" positioned itself as the swing vote - adding 5%-20% either way in various states, then the "black vote" would be a lot more powerful than it is now. Ohio State is surrounded by the inner-city of Columbus, OH, therefore many of the students who voted near campus voted in unison with the Black Community...I waited in line for 3 hours! I wonder why the video only focused on Franklin county and Columbus. Columbus is only 24% black, versus 51% for Cleveland and 43% in Cincinnati. Cuyahoga county (Cleveland) is the most populous county in the state, and Hamilton county (Cincinnati) is one of the most heavily Republican counties. It seems to me that the problems there would have been just as big if not bigger.
