Count me as another Obidala fan. Everytime I see her with Anakin I think, what in the world does she SEE in him?! I know he's the Chosen One and Luke and Leia's father but prequel Ani is just so childish and emo. And the more she was with him, the more ridiculous her character became. Case in point--Ep 3. I just see her as being more compatible with gentle, charming Obi-wan over Anakin's whiny broodiness.

There's this thing called 'alternate universe' where you don't follow what actually happened. You've probably heard of it.

Nevermind that this idea was actually very close to being used in episode III. Also, ten years older, not twenty. And then Padme's five years older than Anakin.

Well, the situation you described is actually canon, at least by the novel; only a tiny bit made it into the movie, but in the novel Palpatine had confused Anakin into believing Obi-Wan and Padme were together behind his back.

Eh, maybe a little bit out there, but like I said it was almost used for episode III as a plot point (as and actual thing, rather than just Palpatine being a jerk) so it's not all that out there, since it almost made it in.

No problem. :) It's part of a short deleted scene that you can see them filming in the C3PO webcast special feature thingy. It should be on the special features disc for Episode III, and it's the one about C3PO, though I've got no clue what number it is. You can probably find good shots of that scene on any Obidala sites you can find. :)

I LOVE Obidala! Such a cute video. It's a shame that Obi-Wan and Padme hardly interact with each other in the movies. All we get is that one scene in Episode II (and people are with them) and then a few short scenes in Episode III. Too bad they didn't include that one deleted scene in the DVD. =(
