  • may i ask who is the DP for this commercial?

  • This is First Class Ad. Makes me want to go there and do what the ad just did!

  • The best part is in 0:18 , they show two men walking the dogs , the black dog is a Newfoundland & the white one is Labrador....

  • Oh boy~~~

  • 0:27 looks very similar to the faroe islands

  • I can't wait to move here in 3 yrs when my citizenship is finalized! School and living will be awesome. This is what I've always pictured a heaven to look like. :)

  • I love Newfoundland - went up and bought a home there "out around the bay" a few years ago. Don't get to go up much, but I am homesick for it every day.

  • You dont need technology or expensive furniture to make you feel happy and wholesum, all you need it is a small house in Newfoundland and a fishing pole.

Well atleast thats what makes me feel happy.

  • Where is the place where the old guy is walking past a miniture villiage ... thats too cute .. beautiful place .. want to go so bad !!

  • @redheadnep the mini village is located on The Irish Loop on the Southern Shore of the Avalon in the town of St Mary's

  • I lived and worked in Nfld for a year in the 70's. The commercials are truth in advertising. It really IS that isolated and boring. Give me Toronto anyday.

  • By's I've got to say, l worked in tourism last summer and I never seen so big a crown in my life. You're doing a stellar job at promoting our beautiful province!

  • Does anyone know if this is an actual song?

  • @1337group the music is an original composition created specifically for this ad by Eric Harry of Eric Harry Music in Toronto.

  • I've been living in Ontario for 20 years and I'd love to move to Newfoundland after I finish school, or when I retire.

    Newfoundlands&Labrador <3

  • Cutesy!

  • Out of all the provincial tourism videos that were made in the past year or so, N&L's are the best ones. It just makes you want to go there, and we will be coming one of these years for sure.

  • @fishingwithrod Agreed!! The tourism commercials for NL & Lab are the best. They are really captivating and mysterious, and as you said, "makes you wanna go there". The one for Ontario SUCKS lol

  • @Nahyacita They don't show Ontario's in BC, I guess they don't want us there. ;) The BC one is not bad actually, but definitely not as good as what N&L has done. :)

  • @fishingwithrod LOL I haven't seen the ones for BC!!! Hmmm...maybe West Coasters don't want Ontarians there! LOL ;) I'll actually check it out, I'm curious now loll

  • This video gives me chills every time I watch it. There is no where on this planet that can match the incredible scenery, people, total relaxation, food and wildlife that Newfoundland offers.

  • OK FIRST OFF!!! Just so we're clear.. As a rule, DO NOT DO! what the guy at the beginning of this video is doing unless you want to return to dock painted white.

BRING AN UMBRELLA FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

  • Whats the Music Called?? its beautiful...

  • listen to miles away by kaz piech

  • Finally... an ad that has a good excuse to be in slow motion.

  • It would be nice if there is no winter up there

  • @h0licede There is winter everywhere. I'd rather deal with a Newfie snowstorm that one in Toronto anyday.

  • Mary will be getting my phonecall after this ad

  • @justink55 who`s Mary?

  • Mary must be getting a lot of phone calls.

  • @dolphins4422 and it's a great thing it is! why would it want to "catch up" to an over-polluting, impersonal, race-against-time way of life???

  • It's so magical.

  • The most beautiful place I have ever been!

  • Newfoundland is one of Canada's amazing provinces!!!! The simplicity and the people are wonderful. It is indeed a beautiful province!!!!

  • @downdeep35 I know you think "simple" is a complement. But it's not.

  • This vid is 90% Brigus

  • It is too bad that with all of the 50 videos that promote tourism in Newfoundland and Labrador there are no shots or scenes of Dildo, on the Baccalieu Trail in Trinity Bay.

  • @BaccalieuHospitality You really need to start uploading then don't you

  • @dolphins4422 Because it's better here...far behind we may be...But from what I can see, we have just about the best of everything, except weather. You're right we are behind in the weather. Can we catch up? Unfortunately yes. It is already happening.

  • @picturenut How are you far behind? I think you guys are far ahead of the rest of Canada. You stick together through tough storms and come out just fine. You have incredible people. You have incredible history. Incredible towns. The rest of Canada wishes it were as resilient as Newfoundland.

  • @spaztickolon We aren't...as I stated. Maybe the weather but times are are changing

  • Oh man this makes my heart ache for motorcycling the Avalon. Brigus is a gem, and Cape St. Mary's is something trully extraordinary. I love this place.

  • I love this place I call home.

  • Several of these shots are of Brigus, where my Irish ancestors landed ages ago.

  • I will be going there one day to see this beautiful land.
