Hotel Rwanda was very good. Not the best movie I've ever seen. But it was very good. I liked that it was it was very real, there was nothing sensationalist about it. The acting was pretty good, not the best ever, but pretty good. The script and emotion was the best part of it though, unbelievable how they portrayed the emotions of the characters and the moods of the scenes. If your interested in the genocide, you'll like the movie.

when you say avenge the hutu you are saying that you want to get revenge for the hutu, think about what you say, the rwandan people i know are tutsi actually and they are clear minded enough to realise that reconciliation is the only way forward, violence only causes more violence I'm not french, obviously in your extensive reading you did not encounter examples of moderate hutus this was a tragedy but you can't make generalisations about either group

I am close to my tutsi friends the genocide both saddens and angers me but violence is not something needed, what should be said about the genocide is that it should never happen again and to bring focus to Darfur in western Sudan, Rwanda is currently rebuilding under a Tutsi president Paul Kagame, while there were some reprisal attacks committed by Kagame's RPF the focus of the country is now progress economically and socially further violence would only make life worse for all Rwandans

What do you mean avenge the Hutu? they have already avenged whatever perceived wrongs the Tutsi commited don't talk shit I know Rwandan people and they want get on with their lives forget all the tribal bullshit, it's true in pre-independence Rwanda Hutus were exploited but in the decades prior to the genocide they were the dominant group in Rwanda they should have followed the example of the Mandela government following, seeking reconciliation rather than revenge through force

Hotel Rwanda was very good. Not the best movie I've ever seen. But it was very good. I liked that it was it was very real, there was nothing sensationalist about it. The acting was pretty good, not the best ever, but pretty good. The script and emotion was the best part of it though, unbelievable how they portrayed the emotions of the characters and the moods of the scenes. If your interested in the genocide, you'll like the movie.

Africans even today often vote along tribal lines. The tribal strife in Rwanda existed long before the Belgians came in the picture. We Belgians got along better with the Batutsi because they were more reliable and showed leadership. It was not a divide and conquer situation.
