i have coil shox, marzocchi bomber (older ones) and there really soft kind of like urs but maybe little harder... i bottom out on a foot drop... and its too old to get new coils... but u have nice forks that if there too soft just pump them up.. lol
bit harsh lol. i was just mucking around in my garden trying to tune them for the trail i made, i think you'll find it was a pretty much perfect set up for that terrain. Then i when i went out for a proper cycle i obviously put some more air in them.
so do you like the fork? because i am going to buy a new one, and reba would be the topping on the cake :D i saw the plushness of it, but how about maintenance? does it cost much? Thanks
i like them a lot, i went from some cheap coil forks to them the difference was huge. they gave me so much more confidence on my bike, i now ride pretty much anything and havent come close to losing control because they keep my tire on the track. You don't really get much better than a Reba, dual air allows you to fine tune the fork until its exactly what you want. i have had over a year and i havent had to do anything to them, i got them for £250 which was a bargain, the rrp was £350.
i would like you tell you but i filmed it ages ago and even then i didnt not the pressures. i just set the + so that when i sat on the bike the suspension was active, it sagged about 2cm. i am not sure about the negative, it was probably about equal with the +.
hi, congrats, very well done vid. Like a lot this Reba, but I think the bridge of the bottles is very close to the wheels,... is it a problem to you sometimes? I'll appreciate your experience. Rgrds.
i have had them since xmas, when i fitted them the first time my tyre rubbed a bit because my tyre wasnt on straight. after a bit of tweaking i got it to run smoothly. they do occasionaly rub of the bridge a bit but i am not that bothered, if i took my time and got my tyre to sit right they probably wouldnt rub at all. i do have quite chunky tyres they are specilaized enduros 2.3, if i had my old resolutions on which are alot less chunky it would be nowhere near touching the bridge.
thanks, i built the rock garden myself with some rocks that were lying around. i also have adjusted them to make them a bit stifer because i didnt want them to bottum out when i go down hills fast and do jumps etc. i like smooth ride though.
how much air do you pump in them?
Grtz

Very very bad tune. I recommend less pressure in the negative, the type 125/120psi 115/105.

I bought mine off ebay a few weeks back. They're only 6 months old but I guess they've had quite a bit of use. Have u ever had yours serviced?
leeds101 2 years ago
no, i probably should, i've had them more than a year and half now. they still perform well.

I had, I made a vid about it. Check my channel. "Reba Rebuild"

what about 2.4 tires ?
paladinextreme 3 years ago
they might just fit without rubbing the bridge. it would be close.

yeh, i have mx pro forks (also 100mm) i like the smooth too. doesnt look like theres much mud clearance with that.... is ther?
cullenbay6 3 years ago
yeah there isn't much because my tyres are quite chunky. Mud sometimes builds up quite a bit when its wet but i just wipe it off.
AngusCrake 3 years ago
They looked really smooth. A bit too smooth for me though. And I loved the rock garden :)
