This video is waaay cool, as the kids say. It holds our interest and the music kinda fits the theme of the story. I just know I will read it in the near future.
It seems that you've caught on to one of the major plot points in my book, Lauranda. It will be very interesting for me as the author and readers alike to see how matters unfold regarding the sword over the course of this series. It is called The Legend of Witch Bane after all.
The music is the thing that caught me the most. The first piece has a beautiful sound to it, but it also sounds foreboding which lends itself to the difficulty of the quest. Then with the introduction of the sword, the music seems more triumphant, but then we are told that may not be what it seems. Is it actually a curse? Definitely something I would want to find out.
I spent a great deal of time trying to marry the music with the images. At the end of the day, the goal is to use music to capture the essence of the emotions of the story.
I like it a lot. Definitely intriguing, and I love the music you picked (especially the first; it's somewhat sad but still hopeful), although the transitions between songs could probably be better. But it's really good!
Very good trailer. The illustrations are very good, the music sets the mood. I almost wonder if it would be better with a narrative instead of the scrolling text, however. But, in all honesty, that's a minor point I think. The trailer does its job in creating interest in the book.
Quick question: Did you do the illustrations for the book?
great trailer!

I'm really glad to know that it works.

I really appreciate the positive comments about my trailer. As for the illustrations, they were done by a very talented artist named Karen Petrasko.
