Jeez this intro does not ring any bells.. after the cell saga is when I kinda stopped watching toonami... I was in my Junior year of High School. Thinking about it, thats probably why Toonami got booted off air, its audience was growing up into high school and too busy making out with chicks and partying.

I watched every show from 8-11, and for the 3 months during the sasuke retrieval arc (if you watch naruto you would know what I mean) my friends and I would spend the weekend talking about it and if naruto would kill sasuke. Sadly, he did not.

Nowadays, if there's a Cartoon that's a little edgy and picked up by CN, it would be sent to Adult Swim. Whatever happen to those days where Cartoon Network had cartoons that were PG during the Toonami block while TV-MA during Adult Swim.

Cartoon network really needs to go private again. Reason why toonami got cut into garbage and eventually canceled was cuz of the sponsors.

By 2003 Cartoon network was feeling heat because sponsors felt toonami was too risky. Sponsors wanted "age appropriate" content on the 3pm to 7pm block so they could sell their toys to 5 & 9 year olds. Toonami was marketed to 13~18 middle/high school. So they created the night run and added shows like hamtaro on the 4~6 block. Ratings dropped and we lost :(
