Performance wise I like 9810 better then the 9800. Look wise, the 9810 looks cheap. I had my 9800 out and getting ready for to give to my mom and with it next to my 9810, the 9800 looks nicer. I'm returning my 9810 for the 9900 Bold this week :)

My blackberry ID won't work from my phone i got it about 2-3 weeks ago and i've set up multiple accounts, whenever i used to try and log of it said unable to log in, but now it says use username associated with phone, but i've deleted the other accounts? i'm fed up and now have just been downloading apps from computer then transfering them. Also the phone often freezes when theres no wiereless coverage or signal, is thera a particular reason? Please help asap!

@fklife1 All I read people gripe about on AT&T's community site is how the phone's OS, memory, and apps are great but if you have a decent convo on it for just a couple of hours, their shit just dies! It doesn't matter what brand phone or models, I keep seeing folks complain about the short battery life on these newer phones. I had a old cheapy Motorola flip-phone from 2005-09 that would stay charged for days.

@ArcaneThingOfBeauty Um.....yeah. That Motorola flip phone didn't do much other than talk and text I am guessing. Look at what all these new phones can do. Calls, texts, emails, videos, music, web browsing, apps, and SO much more. I totally agree the batteries need to be made better to withstand the use that phones are being put through nowadays, but please......you can't compare the two the way you have here. If all you care about is battery life, by all means....go back to a simpler phone.

WHAT I'M SAYING is that if these companies are going to make kickass phones that do MORE than your simple functions, then they should have also invested more in creating batteries that have evolved with the technology; it seems like they have purposefully not done so to increase sales in phone accessories and components to "nickle and dime" customers JUST LIKE fklife1 was saying. >:|

I currently own a BlackBerry for work. Will need to upgrade soon. So here is my gripe with your recommendation for this device. BlackBerry 7 devices to me are the definition of a platform that is DOA (Dead on Arrival). With QNX devices just around the corner why would I want to waste time/money on this device?

To all the people saying the newer rim devices are a bit behind, I sort of agree. On the other hand, you guys know how frequently rim refreshes their handsets, I bet by time February 2012 something newer will be released, even a rumor for a full based QNX handset has been tossed around so that's a hint in itself, hopefully with a front camera. Hope is not lost, but these devices are a nice step in the right direction.
