scrolling is not completely random because maplestory is made on a computer. Scrolling in places like ch11 fm 19, etc. is a myth. And using bait scrolls is a myth too. And also people get confused about the chances of a dark scroll blowing something up. Here there is a 100% chance of total. a 30% dark scroll used 30%. So 75% left. Then it says "50% chance of destroying the item" it means 50% of 70%. so there is a 35% chance to fail w/o break. 35% to fail and break. That explain a bit?

If maplestory follows the rule of probability, here's how that went. Let's pick an easy number. 10 for example. You used 30% scrolls, 3/10 should work. Then you have your experimental result. What you actually got. But the thing is the 3/10 can be random. Out of 10 they could be in any order. 0 = succes, x = fail. : x x 0 x x x 0 0 x x ---- Lots of ways. I didn't count how many times you scrolled, or how many worked, but if wants to they're welcome to do that using this math. Or their own.

If you flip a coin 2 times, then the probability that it will turn out HH, TT, HT, or TH are all 25%.

Getting a T first has no influence on whether or not you will get an H on the second flip. (out of the two outcomes that start with a T, there is one that has another T and one that has an H, hence it's stil 50%)

Basically, it's a question of whether or not scrolling is an independent event or not.

Ok, this is called Dummy scrolling, and for a good reason too. No matter how many scrolls you use in a row, each scroll is its own separate event. Going into detail, If you flip a coin, it lands on heads, you flip another coin, whats the % chance it will land on heads? 25%? NO, still 50% because there are only 2 sides. Same goes with scrolling. Even if a 30% fails 3 times in a row, it doesn't mean if you switch items to scroll on, the % increases of it working, it will still have a 30% chance.

its a statistics of 33.33333333333% over a 30% scroll which leads to being a 1/3 of a 100th's. if you make 1 you're most likely going to fail 2.the 66% chance is better when you use a 60% scroll. thats why people buy 60%'s more than 30%

Sugguesting an advice. To scroll a perfect bow, you must have 23 30%'s and 13 bait 10% scrolls. you must fail 2 10%'s then make 1 30%. if you fail that
