You mentioned that there was a chance of Thors and Collosi on the field but I didn't see either of them when they clearly had the rescources. Can you please tell me why?
starcraft ii is like starcraft i is it not? psi storm exist in both versions as far as i know and economic advantage speaks for itself since it existed in sc1 as well. sure they might not know how the individual units work, but at least they know this much from sc1 and you're saying no one knows "shit" about this game. it's just constructive criticism is all it is, take it or leave it. nn to bash me.

The majority of us know how psi storm works and we can see for ourselves who comes on top of battles, but what you barely if not at all mention is the economic advantage and technological advantage which player has. the red player had around 5 bases for a lot of the video to the protoss's 2 or 3. or how the terran doesn't use his economic advantage to overpower the protoss
@Bigdaddymage He does say in many of his vids that SHOUTcraft is aimed at lower league players who prefer the sports commentary style rather than technical analysis. If you want tech analysis go watch something like HDstarcraft, which i also enjoy.

Terran went wrong in two key areas this game: lack of siege tanks, and lack of EMP usage. EMP would have removed both shields and high templar energies, which would have turned the tables.

That's the worst starcraft commentator i have ever heard. He speaks less than the avearge commentator, and yet he sais absolutely nothing of interest, and he has no clue about what's going on in terms of macro play.
You gotta give it to the terran player. Even though his main base was utterly demolished with little resistance he still managed to survive and recuperate. I think if he had a little more time (which he nearly got) he could have held in there and possibly turned the game around.

What a terrible game. Both players just delaying when they should have been attacking. Whiplash could have ended it 15 minutes earlier if he'd just committed to an attack, instead of constantly backing out for no reason.

Has nothing to do with psychological element; just has to do with inexperience; being able to calculate what your enemy can build depending on his macro is something you learn while playing.
He's right man, there can't be an experienced SC2 player, because SC2 is still beta as of now. You can't be experienced in a game that hasn't even been fully released. Totalbiscuit on your next cast can you change up the unit counting station to mineral income and turn on supple count, that would really make it more exciting. I was dieing to see how badly whiplash was macroing 4 expos and that horrible of an army... was he at like 4k+ mineral count the whole game or what.
Thors are a pretty costly investment which is why you don't see them too often. That said, there's a couple of viable strategies involving them that I'd hope to see in a future video. Thor-drops and Thor pushes are always entertaining, plus Thors are still the best counter Terran have to massed Mutalisks.
Nice videos, I like the solo commentary makes you seem like your going a little mad, or is that an overdose of Morrisons delicious apple juice? If possible could you highlight a video with a thor in it? I assume there's a good reason no one uses them (too expensive, too difficult for terran pilots to drive, religious differences with the Norse pantheon)? I'd just like to see some in action. keep up the good work, oh and a swarm of delicious bees, hold on its too late for that :)

@lsmaddog2 The camera work on the actual live show was smooth as a baby's arse, all middle-button panning or unit-portrait tracking. Like I said before, the problem is not with my camera work, but with Blizzard's camera-tracking replay function, which does not accurately record the camera movements of the spectator.
Future videos will consist of commentary recast over replays, rather than the live material, since people keep complaining about this issue.
Why do you black out the bar on the bottom? it can be useful sometimes to see the buildings you are clicking, to see if they are building, how far along they are etc.

@TotalHalibut Very true, even one or two early on can gut a main base. Even taking out the pylons will disrupt production enough to help gain the upper hand.
On the other hand, we never see enough Battlecruiser.
@TotalHalibut Yes, it's sad they removed the Plasma Torpeados, it would have made them much better against ground units that mobbed. Which would be a good trade off given their horrible speed.
Best SC2 gameplay I've seen so far. Props to the players. Also, the commentary was fantastic, as always. Keep up the good work producing such high quality entertainment, mate.
Will you be able to record live eventually? Selecting units and building can give us a lot of insight on what's happening. We can know health and numbers and such.
There also seems to be a lack of talking subjects; it creates those lapses in commentaries.

@texasrockem pretty sure your just another little person who kisses the ass of any SC2 commentator you see, I actually have another channel that i commentate on SC2 and the first time i did it, i knew exactly what i was talking about without any prior experience, you can believe this or not but far as im concerned you should get a life

And the point of my comment was to show you how stupid it can be to critic a commentator and his viewers when all you got to do is to watch another one. And no I never kissed any ass except my fiancee one, and I never "seen" any commentators, as you said. So you, get a life, fool.

Thx for the commentary ! That was epic ! But the High templar used not only psy storm but feedback too on BC... That skill is very effective on them because it cut off the energy of the BC

Totalbiscuit on your next cast can you change up the unit counting station to mineral income and turn on supple count, that would really make it more exciting. I was dieing to see how badly whiplash was macroing 4 expos and that horrible of an army... was he at like 4k+ mineral count the whole game or what.

Thors are a pretty costly investment which is why you don't see them too often. That said, there's a couple of viable strategies involving them that I'd hope to see in a future video. Thor-drops and Thor pushes are always entertaining, plus Thors are still the best counter Terran have to massed Mutalisks.

Nice videos, I like the solo commentary makes you seem like your going a little mad, or is that an overdose of Morrisons delicious apple juice? If possible could you highlight a video with a thor in it? I assume there's a good reason no one uses them (too expensive, too difficult for terran pilots to drive, religious differences with the Norse pantheon)? I'd just like to see some in action. keep up the good work, oh and a swarm of delicious bees, hold on its too late for that :)

There are not that many of them, it's not like you're being asked to read hundreds. @TotalHalibut the camera work was good, but it could be better, more smooth movements perhaps? but overall everything was perfect i rly enjoyed the commentary. Again just giving some constructive critism :).

@lsmaddog2 The camera work on the actual live show was smooth as a baby's arse, all middle-button panning or unit-portrait tracking. Like I said before, the problem is not with my camera work, but with Blizzard's camera-tracking replay function, which does not accurately record the camera movements of the spectator.
Future videos will consist of commentary recast over replays, rather than the live material, since people keep complaining about this issue.

Why do you black out the bar on the bottom? it can be useful sometimes to see the buildings you are clicking, to see if they are building, how far along they are etc.

@TotalHalibut Very true, even one or two early on can gut a main base. Even taking out the pylons will disrupt production enough to help gain the upper hand.
On the other hand, we never see enough Battlecruiser.

TB ... special props to both Whiplash and JTProg, i've seen a lot of SC2 beta footage, but this game....
After the first 15mins i knew it's gonna get real fun alright so i microwaved some popcorn for myself ;-)
Really really good game, so far without a doubt best 30min fight i've seen from SC2. Well, well played!
Oh and the popcorn... best decision of the day of mine ;)

Will you be able to record live eventually? Selecting units and building can give us a lot of insight on what's happening. We can know health and numbers and such.
There also seems to be a lack of talking subjects; it creates those lapses in commentaries.
