@marksmall1 You're welcome, Mark. I love making these videos although I haven't posted a new one in a few months. I didn't know about the Tiger Balm history, and I find that fascinating. If I ever travel to Jakarta, I'll keep that in mind -- til now, I've only been to Bali (a wonderful and mysterious island).
My wife said that your mandarin is pretty good. When did you move to China? We are living in Greenville for about 4 years now. I am jealous of your mandarin dude!! good job.

@Octo777 Thanks! I moved to China in 2005 and it took about a year just to be able to hear and imitate the four tones. Ask your wife if she's seen the TV series "WoJu" or "DuLaLa's Promotion." She'll know me from those.
Wow, I've been here before too. Despite the dizzy 5 hour car ride up the mountain to the location, the site was def. very interesting to see. I was surprised that there are people who still live like this. Great video!
Yeah, I didn't film the ride there. :) Interestingly enough, a couple of months later, after I returned to Shanghai, I was asked to be a travel host on 1 of their shows in the same place in Fujian! So I went back for 5 more days to film a longer show (which ended up winning 2nd place in a CCTV competition & aired on CCTV4).
You're welcome! Now I'm filming a weekly show on Shanghai's local English channel, so I'm having little time to post more here. I will tweet the shows as their posted on the TV station's web site, however!
Thanks! You will find a life of travel if that's your goal. I had to work 8 years in a regular job before I decided to trade it for a life of travel. You have plenty of time, so start ordering your goals now if that's your plan!
Thanks for the great video production. Have you been to Jakarta? I understand the inventor of Tiger Balm was Hokka and started his business there.
