I"m sorry things didn't work out for you. However, did you ever consider working hands-on with a board certified lactation consultant or pumping to increase supply?
@dietdrpepperfan Over here at the hospitals in Norway, they don't let you leave until you get breastfeeding going. They have specialists and I did get some help. However, in the end we agreed that since my milk supply has stopped, there is no need to pump. This is because the hormone thats needed to produce milk isn't doing what its supposed to and pumping doesn't help. If you already have a milk supply it would, but in my case my breasts were empty. Thanks for your support! :) xoxo
Wow Thank god there someone else out there that I can relate to.So many moms make breast feeding seem so easy.I was feeling like I was a terrible mom when I also stopped trying to BF.My baby boy is 4 weeks old and he is doing just fine as a formula feed baby. But you are right so many people will comment and say things that are really not helpful.
You just have to ignore them you are a great mom..
@vancaner I am so glad you found my story helpful! I am sure there are many moms out there who have had the same problem we have had and feel very alone. So glad you two are doing well and you are a great mom! :) Ultimately we are responsible for our kids and we have to make decisions that are in their best interest. Good luck and I hope things go well! Take care xoxo
