I have a question, how come none of these apps give u the checklist option for creating a larger playlist instead of long pressing individual songs which takes far too long? Thats excluding MixZing that is, as that is the only one that really has this very basic yet important feature!

CNET are a bunch of Apple loving cunts. Apple this, Ipod that. The Ipod isn't the dogs bollocks when it comes to Mp3 players, far from it, so why the fuck do they compare everything with it. The ipod is shit. Sound Quality is shit, Itunes is shit, basically everything is shit on the ipod. CNET need to pull their heads out of Apples ass!

Love android, but no smartphone other than the iPhone (and the zune player on Windows phone) will kill the iPod. It is made for music, and built around music. I like zune better than iPod though. I can't believe they discontinued them. You suck Microsoft.

poweramp is my fav for now. but for a free and good player i strongly recommend kascend music player-its free, has a 10 band equalizer with good quality, great for managing music. it can also download covers and lyrics so im pleased with it

Amazon Cloud isn't available in Canada.

PowerAmp sometimes (often) skips when the equilizer is on, which is annoying because it's always on by default.

And PlayerPro... I don't know if it's just on my device, but by god... bug galore. The lock-screen is the worst.

Would you recommend a smartphone over an ipod in terms of battery life, storage size and musical quality? Because I don't know if my next upgrade should be another ipod or just get a smartphone (iphone or android).

@Aristowi If you need a device only for music and media then Apple has monopolized the portable media market and I would get an iPod. If you are interested in a new snazzy phone and you don't mine paying for the kind of expensive phone bill at the end of each month for the contract I would get the smartphone. When it comes to Smartphones send me a personal message or just respond back to this one and I will get into the nitty gritty of what smartphone I think you should chose and stuff. :)
