....remember it well.... I had the pleasure and honor of co-producing this album and the follow-up "Spaceball".... Tequila's vocal on this was completely unscripted, free-form and off the hook..... nothing was written..... Larry was a wonderful man... RIP....
Yeah man ....I been trying 2figue out who she was..cause she is pitching 1....that raspy ..deep..ghetto voice....my girl
.& Larry Young...pitching one 2..real funk..
.I was a infant when all this funk was seeping in the air....fortunate my parents were involved by going 2 bars and other joints...& I was too much 4the sitter...so I was at the bar with my parents ...getting down..outta sight
Amazing! Linda “Tequila” Logan sings like a woman possessed in this one - not holding back, even speaking in tongues towards the end :) And back in those heady days of Rare Groove the (moog synth?) to me sounded really beefy, funky, fresh and futuristic, In fact this whole tune still is each of those things even after all this time! RIP Larry Young.
When you hear this ... It bring you back to the London and what was dominating everything at the Time from Radio to TV... London went back to the 1970's helped by the huge interest in Rare grooves music, tunes, partying and fashion.
At that time (1986/1987 I would say London, England was the best place to party in the world at that time if you liked these types of tunes.
Big tune....first heard it at The Good, The Bad and The Ugly at the Cask & Glass near Selfridges down Oxford Street....back in the day...Norman Jay span it and I had to go out and get it....BAD!!!!

@brianmacdonaldmusic I think it was a bold move for Larry-making this funk album with Tequila. Larry Young is a fusion superstar.
