What they are doing now is establishing the child as the property of the state. In the future ALL kids will belong to the state where they will be housed and brought up thru them NOT families as we know it today.
What most ppl dont understand is that social workers are used as social reformers by the govt. They are the arms and legs of the govt. They porve that we are owned by the state when kids are taken from u. I work as a counsellor and I have seen families broken up bcoz of the most ridiculous things.
the system victimizes all of those who cannot afford to protect or defend themselves. All CPS cares about if getting a bigger head count so they can have more cash for themselves.
To all the social workers who claim they are underpaid for the stress they deal with everyday, get a real job and some base morals and values.. life might just work out better for you...
Last comment then I'll shut up. So if you've ever experienced the cps system and had a good experience then you must be blessed because most that I know and those who were with me hadn't. I'm 35 years old now and am scarred for life from the experiences I had with them some 20 years ago. As a father I urge any1 thinking about calling cps not to, and to honestly try to help in a different way unless it's in extreme cases. Thx for reading ...
Well im really sorry for what you been through.. Really.. This is why im putting these videos out to raise awareness. I pray for reform and some lives to be bettered from the efforts.
But ultimatly the system victemized me and tried to train me to be a monster by conviently turning a blind eye when I was being beat up, to the low grade food they fed me in the "child care" system. People ask me why don't I consider myself human any longer, and I reply simply "because they tried to make me into a monster but they failed". The cps system is worse then the prision system in the sense where at least the prision system has criminals who will say who they are, cps doesn't.
As I mentioned before I was pegged as a villian at the ripe age of 12 because I was fighting against my mother who was physically abusing me. So at first they put me into a foster home, and becuase I fell in love with my foster sister at age 14, I was put into a detention home. In there I was taught how to fight and in a sense be a monster. I graduated from that home where at age 17 I had to go AWOL to gain my freedom to get out of the system. I'm disabled today from PTSD and other issues.
I for having previous experience in the CPS system due to my mother abusing me could honestly say it really is such a demeaning and humiliating system not only for the parents but also the children as well. In my personal case because I was a male and fighting against my mothers abusive tactics, it was automatically assumed that I was the villian. Although in most cases the parents are poor or suffering from depression and again victemized by CPS. I could tell my personal story?
Seems like CPA is damned if they do and damned if they don't. There are lots of cases where CPA didn't take enough action to prevent a child's injury because they wanted to keep kids with parents. Now they are taking kids away and taking heat for that too. They can not be right about a situation everytime because they are human and make mistakes so now they follow guildlines that apply to everyone dispite the circumstances.
The "damned if they do, damned if they don't" argument is a fallacy. Actually, CPS can't lose either way, and the facts bear my assertion out. That is, when CPS doesn't protect a child (like Baby P), the massive publicity that ensues ensures that CPS gets a huge spike in reports of "child abuse," and hence more removals of children (more child abuse hysteria = more laws, more money, more sympathy for the CPS "cause.") The damned if they do damned if they don't argument is just another CPS lie
You know honestly wendy you must be very knieve into thinking that. Because they work out of victemizing the underpriviledged in so many ways it's not funny. If you were depressed and your house wasn't perfect they would take your children away legally and NOT help you solve the real issue. If of course the thild was being abused the kid would be taken to a home to be abused some more. DUH. So no it's not a good thought..

The problem is the children are the ones to suffer. So we have to make sure that dont happen.
