What buffer and spring are you using? Is that a standard M16 Bolt Carrier Group from BCM? Have you had any problems with your BCM 11.5" ? Mine never did work, right out the box, simply junk. Bravo Company never answers there phone so nothing I can do about it.
@GunWebsites - If rounds are not ejecting and are sometimes double feeding..that's pretty much problems of the upper half. The lower just hits the firing pin.
At 200 yards with a 11.5" barrel and heavy match, stretching that setup as far as ballistics are concerned arent you? What's that match doing through the 11.5" around 2700 fps at the muzzle? Whats that putting you at at 200 yards? Would it still stop a target reliably? From the graphs I'm seeing 68 grain ammo only fragments reliably at most out to around 80 yards through a 11.5''...
Oh, well I checked your channel, and now I realize you are an idiot.. whatever comic book, video game or cereal box you use for research is wrong, quit defending it

hey I wanted to get a new ar15 11.5 and people are selling them on ar15 is it illegal to buy it from them how does it work wil they send it to my home address and then I have to register with the ATF as a SBR let me know thanks
@GunWebsites lol. I notice that it is cool. I don't know anything about SBR other than what other people say. (Everyone is an expert on the internet, lol.) I think that the firearm would be louder. I also think that the range and accuracy would drop. Correct me if I'm wrong.
you were shooting 75 grainers! through that short barrel!!! what is the twist rate on that barrel? it whatever it was, I think it would have shot at least a good inch better with standard 55 grain bullet, im amazed at the group with 75 grain through that 11.5 inch barrel, WOW!
@vash241987 ..fully aware of how it works. I have an 10.5 " SBR. If you look at all their videos, there are very few 16"+ barrel on their weapons, often with suppressors also. I was just commenting on the amount of class 3 stamps they have accumulated and I doubt they're done.
Wrong twist for nato rounds+ the barrel isn't even chrome lined last I heard. They priced it high because of it's supposed military contract potential. So they want to screw the taxpayers and the buyers! Ridiculous!
The reason why you have not seen a ACR for so many years is this. MAGPUL came up with the designe, but could not mass produce it. They had Bushmaster contract the job. Then Remington bought out Bushmaster, renamed the rifle the Remington ACR. They started production on it, and ran into a snag, They are being sewed by Robinson Armament for a designe copy. The copy is of the Bolt catch release that is built into the side of the mag well. I was on a wating list for 3 years. Now you know.
What in gods name does does pre-ban and post ban mean? I see a 11.5 pre-ban barrel kit and a 20'' post ban barrel kit? It says nothing about needing a tax stamp or sending it to a class 3 dealer? Does that mean it's legal to own it?
I See still learning about class 3 and NFA weapons. I have been drooling over Sound suppressor's and SBR's I see you can also own 40mm m203 under the NFA and tax stamp thats nuts my have to apply and pick up a m203.
i just want to say, that it is super illegal do that in Puerto Rico island, to get a 9mm you have to pay 3,000 dollar for the licence thanks to the politicians in the senate, they have heavy weapons, but there a lot of killing thanks to illegal arms
I never understood how sights can be so accurate - any scope or iron sights are going to provide a straight line and the bullet's trajectory is parabolic. Can you recommend a good source to learn about the math behind this?
If you sight in first at 25 yards and move it out, won't you just have to re-adjust since the relief from the optics to where the bullet exits the barrel is about 2 inches?
If you are sighted in at 25, you'll be shooting about 2" high at 100 is my point.
If you understand balistics and the drop of your bullet weight at certain yardage then you can sight in at 100 and click up/down for you needs at 200, 300 etc..... But 100 is pretty standard for most rifles
lol oh yeah I can, but the thing is aren't those guns like 1000 or more ? Cause I'm 16 and I love shooting guns and practicing n getting better at shooting. But I don't have a lot of money to spend at all at the moment..so it would be extremely hard for me at least to buy a Ar-15
oh yea that's true and yea I do have the opportunity to do it and some others can't even shoot a gun because the fact that they can't cuz of area they live and it might be illegal to anyways yea that's true, that would be a good experience to learn more and maybe that could happen you never know.
thanks, we did a comparison on our websites (still images) of this paint job against a few different backgrounds and it does pretty well for the desert

militarysims 2 years ago
ban = the Assault Weapons Ban of 1994 through 2004
So it ended 5 years ago, and means nothing legally now
Back during it's effect, firearms had to be sold with a few cosmetic changes, those are called "Ban-style"
Firearms with 'normal' accessories might be called "pre-ban" or "no-ban" configuration
GunWebsites 2 years ago
So does that mean You need a tax stamp for the pre-ban 11.5? Dealers web sites should really have this information.
militarysims 2 years ago
pre ban and NFA have nothing to do with each other
11.5" has been regulated as an SBR since 1934 (NFA)
so.. pre-ban, during the ban, and now post-ban the short barrel has been a taxable, regulated firearm
GunWebsites 2 years ago

the reason I ask is because as long as they are legal where you live at least you are ahead of the game
Think about working at a range or gun shop.. that would get you around shooters
Once you know a few shooters you'll find many are willing to bring a second rifle to the range for a friend to shoot
I've shot plant of my friends firearms and they've shot mine..
At least you have the opportunity to try something like that.. some people live where they just don't even get the chance
