Accent is overrated. Let;s face it -- billions of people speak English, some even better than native speakers in terms of grammar, word choice, etc. except for accent. Its something you pick up when you are surrounded by native speakers. What matters is that you get your message across.

I am Filipino and I would never ever want to lose my accent. It adds to the charm. Akeboshi's accent is more than just charm, its magical ... Now, nuff said.
