Ok, I think I missed pointing out one thing when I keep repeating myself.
The 10:30-1:30 angles that you are trying to keep your bounce within are for your left stick.... in fact you try not to adjust your right stick at all. Your not trying to face the wall but rather stay in the middle so that the 10:30, and 1:30 angles produce the same effect as you looking at the wall. If you spam this around an hour... you'll be surprised at what happened a few times...

@PharNico I do the same thing. My whole attraction to GoW is the gnasher battles. But I like to win and GoW3 is a rifle game. So I spend a lot more time lancering and staying ranged with the gnasher.

I know what you're saying but I believe he's legit. He doesn't come across as a cocky kid, but rather a pretty intelligent modest dude (watch his first vid). I've seen him around on Epic forums and he doesn't really ever brag about how good he is, so I don't see why he'd bother to 'cheat' considering all that.

@TheLolaturswag - your right... wallbouncing back and forth is only good in narrow passages... I also use the sideways bounce to grab walls to increase my "strafe" distance.

@PharNico I couple things. 1. It was good idea i have never seen anything like this before. 2. I do wallbounce but i dont have a capture card because i don't have a laptop or computer within 200 feet of my xbox. 3. Lets say you are an 8 out of 10 at wall bouncing(not saying you are just came up with a random #) then i am a 7.5 otu of 10, so not as good as you but close
nice moves! quick question though, when your doing ur quick left, right bounces in a row on blood drive for example, to get up to your opponent quickly, do u move ur right stick at all? or do u have to be looking dead straight and just use ur left stick?

Thanks I appreciate the compliments... I am concerned about this though.... It took me 6 months to get comfortable with the alternate after the switch.... Maybe 2400 hrs of actual playtime to get nasty with it.
@PharNico Why be concerned? The guy specifically says he's thinking long term. And hey, they can always switch back can't they. I switched 2 weeks ago and I feel already to be about 80% of my ability of before. If in 1 year I am even 110% due to the switch, it will have been worth it in my opinion.
The female character with the much smaller hit box helps too. A lot of people sponge their shot guns on female characters. I think to be taken seriously people need to stop playing as these females and play as a normal male character.

Good shit man, switched to Alternate an hour or so after being inspired by your other vid and plan on committing to it. Couple questions: Are you using a default Xbox 360 controller or something with extra buttons? What are you doing to cancel the bounces so quickly? Having a lot of issues with cancelling the bounce without pulling down on the stick like I would with default. Keep up the vids, entertaining to watch.

@PharNico while alternate does have some advantages when wallbouncing, there are also disadvantages to alternate. and one of them is the distance issue. it is a fact that on default you can begin a bounce farther than alternate. so dont sit here and say you never ever look at a wall or something like that because that is a lie. i dont know if you took my comment the wrong way im not comming here to troll you have some good clips.

People look at walls because they want to be sure they will bounce.... Actually the bounce has nothing to do with your right stick. They won't fix the updating... Same as they changed the Halo 3 melee system. They are similar... But Halo 3 made it so the person with more shield HP would survive- both would die only if hp is equal. Still would get people complaining if that's how it was in Gears.

Thanks I appreciate the compliments... I am concerned about this though.... It took me 6 months to get comfortable with the alternate after the switch.... Maybe 2400 hrs of actual playtime to get nasty with it.

@PharNico Why be concerned? The guy specifically says he's thinking long term. And hey, they can always switch back can't they. I switched 2 weeks ago and I feel already to be about 80% of my ability of before. If in 1 year I am even 110% due to the switch, it will have been worth it in my opinion.

The female character with the much smaller hit box helps too. A lot of people sponge their shot guns on female characters. I think to be taken seriously people need to stop playing as these females and play as a normal male character.

Good shit man, switched to Alternate an hour or so after being inspired by your other vid and plan on committing to it. Couple questions: Are you using a default Xbox 360 controller or something with extra buttons? What are you doing to cancel the bounces so quickly? Having a lot of issues with cancelling the bounce without pulling down on the stick like I would with default. Keep up the vids, entertaining to watch.

2nd. No extra buttons, Wired Xbox 360 Controller
3rd. When bouncing forward.. think about 8 directional movement.
Keep movements from 10:30 to 1:30... I don't always grab walls...

@PharNico let me tell you that is the first 1v1 of myself that i have ever posted since i got a capture card. if your not a subscriber let me tell you the rest of those recent vids are not me if you didnt watch them. my channel is mainly for competetive matches. anything i post isnt supposed to be showcasing shotgun wallbounce skill like this montage when your taking particular clips. all im saying is dont be so quick to judge my style on a few videos when im playing mostly with ars as a team

I post a montage... got some nice clips as you say.... you respond saying I can do this with default. It negates my entire argument.... and I don't agree with you. So in my judgment of playing with you, and against you, and watching you I don't see how you are doing this with default.

@PharNico while alternate does have some advantages when wallbouncing, there are also disadvantages to alternate. and one of them is the distance issue. it is a fact that on default you can begin a bounce farther than alternate. so dont sit here and say you never ever look at a wall or something like that because that is a lie. i dont know if you took my comment the wrong way im not comming here to troll you have some good clips.

People look at walls because they want to be sure they will bounce.... Actually the bounce has nothing to do with your right stick. IMO... so when I watch you... we don't look the same... you face and flinch at walls and then try to hit your enemy. I kinda strafe bounce and try to hit my enemy... different styles by the looks of it.

They won't fix the updating... Same as they changed the Halo 3 melee system. They are similar... But Halo 3 made it so the person with more shield HP would survive- both would die only if hp is equal. Still would get people complaining if that's how it was in Gears.
