go to newtiburon . com. You'll find more than what you in there. But if you go to ngmhouseofpower . com You'll be in heaven. They specialize on tiburons. Suerpchargers, turbo, ecu etc. You name it, they got it.
Anyway yes there's. But I reprogrammed my ecu instead installing a performance chip out of the box. remember that your car is unique so your mapping have to be made just for her.
yes this can be done for the HYUNDAI ECU as well as for the ECU already mapped or "performance chip" the problem is that all of them have a RANGE so they can just "adjust" itself you your car. Sometime you need an "ad hoc" programming: parts from different contructors, different sizes, be spoke parts all needs to be orchestrated or choreographed in such a way that could be impossible just using a out of the box chip.
Now I don't want to seem like I am bashing you in any way, but 202 hp is unlikely. I just want to educate you so you don't get mad fun of from others.
First, our cars (yes fellow tib owner) do not have 172whp! They have around 157whp, 172 is hp to the crank. Second, the mods are not stacking mods send me a message and I'll explain.
Now I only tell you this because being in the 200+hp range for an N/A tib is an exclusive club and me included, we all have done a lot more..
THanks ! Anyway 172hp is to the cranck and 202hp is referred to this too. I had my engine dynoed but they could have done a mistake. Anyway 202-172=30hp As I said you get 10hp just reprogramming ECU and this is a fact. Anyway maybe Im wrong the only thing I know is that my car is very fast now (I got 1.5 sec less 0-60) and I reached 250km/h.
If you want to gimme more details I will accept it! I know S/C got a lot more than 200hp but I don't want S/C car I prefer aspired one.
Just to be clear: during the test the wheels werent' running this is a lot of work but they have a small computer to run such a tests after then they tuned my ecu as well.
actually ive read that a 05-06 tibby has around 148 whp (V6) and around like 168 torque at the wheels. i only have CAI and catback and i know im close to 200 at the crank. i gained a half of a second in the thousand w/ just a cai. and bzpwhx how did u reprogram your computer and where did u get your throttle body?
Well I reprog my ecu goin to my mechanic he have done all the work in half a day just pluggin a socket into my car's interface. The throttle body is from roadrace motorsport.
you can see the gray plastic around the pioneer. Well has been painted to black to match the colour around. The aluminium inside the tachimeters (miles/hours and rpm) has been updated with the Tuscani one (you can see the "tuscani" lettering inside as well as the "fuel" and "temp" lettering). The rubber in front of the shifter has been replaced w. the "T" alu. one.
Just a quick update: the engine bay , where you see blue now has been painted to red just to have one color. The badging (in the engine bay and on the steering) have been removed. On the steering now I have the small tuscani one(standard) .
You are wellcome! my opinion: 35hp with all the mods (10hp just modding the ECU) are in line with this type of engine. I know that to get 220 you will have to install cams and re-tuning ECU as well (well easier to install a S/C). I had my car dyno tested so I know the HP my car has but I will do another just to be sure.I have cams but my installer told me they are wrong so I shpd them back to the seller. I know that there're a lot of nicer car around (I love vauxhall (opel) speedster)but I love this car and the engine is the same as in mitsubishi 3000gt.All aluminium & can handle 2 turbos without modifications! The engine you are tlkng about is xtrmly good. Don't be fooled by low hp if you understand about engines. FYI the engine has been used from many cadillac and chrisler V6.

Your car does not have a Mitsubishi 6G7 motor in it. It has a 2.7l Hyundai Delta V6. The only time Hyundai has ever used a 6G7 motor is in the 90-98 Sonata. The 6G7 has been used in many Chryslers, but never any Cadillacs. I have driven cars with both engines and performance is fairly similar.

Im sorry but the 2.7 Delta derives from the engine's plan bought from Mitsubishi and the fact that it can be run with twin turbos without major modification is the proof. Cadillacs have no this kind of engine this is true: the kind of problems the 3000GT has (and that mitsu never solved fully) the first deltas have.
Now is the "momentum" of V6 MU version... who knows?

It's not just something you can easily do. You have to have your ECU remapped by a very few select companies that know our ECU's (R.E.A.L. <-- what I have, Sharkracing..)

Anyway yes there's. But I reprogrammed my ecu instead installing a performance chip out of the box. remember that your car is unique so your mapping have to be made just for her.

yes this can be done for the HYUNDAI ECU as well as for the ECU already mapped or "performance chip" the problem is that all of them have a RANGE so they can just "adjust" itself you your car. Sometime you need an "ad hoc" programming: parts from different contructors, different sizes, be spoke parts all needs to be orchestrated or choreographed in such a way that could be impossible just using a out of the box chip.

Now I don't want to seem like I am bashing you in any way, but 202 hp is unlikely. I just want to educate you so you don't get mad fun of from others.
First, our cars (yes fellow tib owner) do not have 172whp! They have around 157whp, 172 is hp to the crank. Second, the mods are not stacking mods send me a message and I'll explain.
Now I only tell you this because being in the 200+hp range for an N/A tib is an exclusive club and me included, we all have done a lot more..

THanks ! Anyway 172hp is to the cranck and 202hp is referred to this too. I had my engine dynoed but they could have done a mistake. Anyway 202-172=30hp As I said you get 10hp just reprogramming ECU and this is a fact. Anyway maybe Im wrong the only thing I know is that my car is very fast now (I got 1.5 sec less 0-60) and I reached 250km/h.
If you want to gimme more details I will accept it! I know S/C got a lot more than 200hp but I don't want S/C car I prefer aspired one.

Just to be clear: during the test the wheels werent' running this is a lot of work but they have a small computer to run such a tests after then they tuned my ecu as well.

actually ive read that a 05-06 tibby has around 148 whp (V6) and around like 168 torque at the wheels. i only have CAI and catback and i know im close to 200 at the crank. i gained a half of a second in the thousand w/ just a cai. and bzpwhx how did u reprogram your computer and where did u get your throttle body?

it took u like 6 sec to go from that roll to 60MPH. my car will get it in 6.5 from a stop with only a cold air intake and catback exhaust (0-98kmh)

Well I reprog my ecu goin to my mechanic he have done all the work in half a day just pluggin a socket into my car's interface. The throttle body is from roadrace motorsport.

you can see the gray plastic around the pioneer. Well has been painted to black to match the colour around. The aluminium inside the tachimeters (miles/hours and rpm) has been updated with the Tuscani one (you can see the "tuscani" lettering inside as well as the "fuel" and "temp" lettering). The rubber in front of the shifter has been replaced w. the "T" alu. one.

Just a quick update: the engine bay , where you see blue now has been painted to red just to have one color. The badging (in the engine bay and on the steering) have been removed. On the steering now I have the small tuscani one(standard) .

202 HP? maybe to the crank, BUT NOT TO THE WHEELS. You'll need cams to break the 200 mark.

You are wellcome! my opinion: 35hp with all the mods (10hp just modding the ECU) are in line with this type of engine. I know that to get 220 you will have to install cams and re-tuning ECU as well (well easier to install a S/C). I had my car dyno tested so I know the HP my car has but I will do another just to be sure.I have cams but my installer told me they are wrong so I shpd them back to the seller. Do u know where I can get cams for my V6?

I know that there're a lot of nicer car around (I love vauxhall (opel) speedster)but I love this car and the engine is the same as in mitsubishi 3000gt.All aluminium & can handle 2 turbos without modifications! The engine you are tlkng about is xtrmly good. Don't be fooled by low hp if you understand about engines. FYI the engine has been used from many cadillac and chrisler V6.
Please document yourself before writing such a messages.

Your car does not have a Mitsubishi 6G7 motor in it. It has a 2.7l Hyundai Delta V6. The only time Hyundai has ever used a 6G7 motor is in the 90-98 Sonata. The 6G7 has been used in many Chryslers, but never any Cadillacs. I have driven cars with both engines and performance is fairly similar.

Yes it's correct but not fully correct. Im sorry but the 2.7 Delta derives from the engine's plan bought from Mitsubishi and the fact that it can be run with twin turbos without major modification is the proof. Cadillacs have no this kind of engine this is true: the kind of problems the 3000GT has (and that mitsu never solved fully) the first deltas have.
Now is the "momentum" of V6 MU version... who knows?

Thanks! But Im not POSH so I know when people have good intentions and I accept all critics so I changed the blue air ram to black and the red bar to polished alluminium. Im planning to change the steering whell to a racing one with airbag ofcourse.

I know that. I Don't like the embleme that all people put instead of H on the steering wheel. Plus, many people love it, many don't. Many cars have the same logo outside and inside (may be smaller) but to me looks good enough. Have a nice christmas eve.

It's not just something you can easily do. You have to have your ECU remapped by a very few select companies that know our ECU's (R.E.A.L. <-- what I have, Sharkracing..)
