@nightmarenet It depends on what you want to use it for, the RMX will only do midi control but can be a stand alone mixer as well, but the Mixdeck has way more features being it can play cd, cd-r, mp3 cds, usb thumb drives, ipods and do midi control as well. In my opinon the mixdeck is way better then the RMX because it fits my needs, for you the rmx may be better. But overall, the Mixdeck is better.

@turfmoor100 you would be better off buying seperatly in my opinion, you would be able to do it but to do it nicely and effecively i would say 2 gemini CDJ 210 and getting a mixer to connect them together for example a pioneer DJM-300. it would cost around £500 which is very expensive, but there is cheaper set ups.

@MrNick35007 It plays from CD's, USBs, an IPod on a third channel, and/or you can load both decks through a computer/laptop. I know that they used to come with a version of Traktor software, but I think it comes with VirtualDJ if you buy it now. <---- Hope all that helps.

@hollistonpanther67 it has 2 xlr outputs i recomed on getting the behringer b212d powered speaker it has 550watts and its worked fantastic it packs a great punch but watch the bass cuz it gets rumbly sometimes and i currently own a mixdeck i just got it 5 days ago for my birthday its a great system and its a great way on learning how to get used to matching the bpms on a each trak by urself since there is no sync button and the cd drives are little slow to load. but its still an amazing system.

@LRG18DUMMY yes you would need to run your mpc or maschine through one of the external inputs (RCA) in order to take advantage of the soundboard, but you could also hook your sampler or pads up to the mixer you run everything through. I own a Korg Padkontrol and use it for sampling and live sounds and stuff and it works excellent. I run through the FPC on FL 9 and it works like a charm for any sound I want to assign to it.
