She said she got death threats and had to have body guards at sundance... She also said that as shocked as she was to get dakota to do the movie she came really close to losing her to because her investors kept backing out and they kept pushing back production... Who knows maybe they'll make their money back.... Good Movie though

Through my eyes, her sex melted away after she did that awful job in Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch Has A Glitch.
Her voice had to much "western child" to it. Lilo's REAL voice was neutral. NO. Her voice didn't cronologically/pubetically change. It was just a bad choice of voice actress.

Wow..I didn't realize she could carry a tune. She is so cute! I think if you are mature enough to know what this movie is about, you are mature enough to act it out. And Dakota is way beyond her 12 yr old state of maturity. She isn't doing anything untastefully either..there was no naked scenes in it.

Nobody is bashing Dakota, she is a sweet and bright child, not old enough to be making these choices. I would be bashing her parents. Apparantly Dakota thinks she's mature enough for this role, and I agree with her. It's called ACTING. She isn't going through anything, her character is. I agree with you. I've seen that BOOC movie and I know that seen that u are talking about. It is graphic and while I was watching that I'm turning my head in disgust because I can't watch something so uncanny and so immoral. Anyways, I haven't actually seen the rape scene off Hounddog, so I can't really judge yet. But, I'm sure when I see that I will surely turn my head again. Overall, I will see the movie and judge for myself in the end if the director went too far on this or not.
