Barton frees up space for the likes of marveaux and gosling to come into the mix and then we also have a solid pairing of tiote and cabaye. Nolan is a legend and a great character, he left us with great memories of him in a black and white shirt. I'm glad he left though; as i think he wouldn't of fitted into our tactics now and isn't getting any younger.

@warpfield98 Nolan has been replaced by cabaye, so im not complaining about that. We've swapped him out for a player ten times what nolan is. Barton frees up space for the likes of marveaux and gosling to come into the mix and then we also have a solid pairing of tiote and cabaye. Carroll money couldn't be rejected, and it looks like we'll get davide santon as a lb to replace enrique which would be brilliant as well. Really can't complain, and if enrique hadn't gone we wouldn't have 7 points now

From 1990-2009 i will fully admit, Newcastle United were a better club than Sunderland. But were not talking about the past, otherwise i could say, we won more league titles than you etc and all that shite. We did qualify for Europe actually in 1974 so your wrong there. Both of your strikers were ineffective, apart from a last second goal in each game, 1 from a striker that aint at your club anymore, and 1 flukey goal. Taylor, excellent in attack and defense, and returning to fitness. He's a local lad and an excellent CB. Enrique is our LB until a good offer comes in and the club accept. Enrique i reckon will stay to run out his contract, and he's about 10x better than any defender you have.
